✦ AI summary
Players agree that Trino has a creative and unique core concept centered around drawing triangles to capture enemies, with decent polish for an indie game and controller support. However, the consensus is that the gameplay becomes repetitive and shallow quickly, with poor level design, subpar keyboard controls, and insufficient depth to maintain long-term interest, making it difficult to recommend even at its discounted price point.
This is the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game on steam do not buy it. Seriously. Do not. Don't even think about it.3 found this helpful
3 found this helpful
Trino pits you as a flying sperm where you create triangles to capture enemies, eat their goo, and ultimately connect the dots around the border to complete each level. The game gets progressively harder via tougher enemies and oddly shaped levels. It's controller enabled which is a plus, but the game gets stale quickly leaving you looking for something else to play.1 found this helpful
Box your enemies in to destroy them and get upgrades. It can be entertaining, but is fairly shallow. Can't hold my interest long.1 found this helpful
Intensly boring would not reccomend to anyone ever.
The game in short is that you're this space ship/weird creature that can create triangles to capture enemies, which then drop energy/points pellets, once you've done this enough, there are these points around the level which you need to connect to each other, which will then finish the level. Not a horrible game, especially for the price when it's on sale (not worth the full price imo, even if it's only 5 euros), but the controls are so bad with keyboard and mouse, controller is pretty much a must if you want to properly play it. Level design isn't great either, you have levels were you barely have room to move (in a game where you're supposed to be creative with how you capture the enemies) or you pretty much only use half the level, because the rest of the level will get you cornered to easily. If you're into achievements, the game also has 6 unobtainable/broken achievements. Overall i just feel this game doesn't have enough polish for it to warrant a recommendation, get it on sale if you want to, but otherwise give it a pass. PS: Not exactly the same gameplay and visually-wise, but give Fortix 1&2 a look if these types of games interests you.
