Six months have passed since the car accident that led to the mysterious disappearance of Charlie Goodman...
His fiancee Betty Hope, who was with him in the car, is gradually recovering and returning to the beloved work of a famous criminal journalist. Ahead of her is one of the main investigations of her whole life – the search for the groom who disappeared without a trace under mysterious circumstances. She has very few threads on her hands that lead to the solution of this crime (and Betty has no doubt about that), and she has to piece together the full picture and find Charles.
To figure out what is really going on in Mistwood, Betty will have to explore the whole dark side of the once quiet town, catch a lot of people in crimes and get closer to her main goal.

It's a weak ripoff of the hundreds of Artifex Mundi mobile apps, a weak and badly written detective adventure with the usual Adobe Flash tier hidden object "puzzles", but this is just a demo and not the full game, you have to unlock that by giving your credit card details to the shady mobile devs who dumped this cancerous monetisation on Steam to try gouge PC gamers they same way they do mobile peasants. This is not okay. You also have to pay money to unlock "helpers", without which some of the puzzles can't be solved at all... this is cancer. Putting toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 9 conc…2 found this helpful
I love the "find the item" style games but i couldn't care less about the story you're trying to tell, however i was willing to play it until i came across the whole "energy" and micro transactions part. Yeah i get it, it's a free game but there a loads of free games on steam i can play completely and fully without having to wait for my energy bar to refill by itself. Go back to facebook with these weak games. I'd rather pay a one off sum to access the full game without an energy bar. Not recommended2 found this helpful
this game is crap at best, no main menu, no settings is it so hard to make a decent Game? CRAP DEVELOPERS!!!!!
I like find-the-object but i can no longer stand the hyper greedy versions or the ones like this one that have very slow transitions and forced clips in between games and long meaningless conversations that one can not affect or skip and that does not at all impact the actual gameplay. I can not recommend them in good faith. This gets 2/5 from me even if its funny functioning.
When I launch the game nothing happens, but there is small tray icon that says "Installing and downloading games."
Generic boring mobile game, not worth it.
