What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise Twisted as a challenging and charming platformer with engaging mechanics like jetpacks and time-slowing abilities, backed by a fitting soundtrack and low-res but visually appealing aesthetics. The game is noted as short but satisfyingly difficult, with varied puzzles and obstacles that keep gameplay interesting, though some mention the lack of story context and early access status as minor limitations.
This is the best platformer that I have played in a long time! You run, jump, shoot, fly a jet pack, and slow time! There are lethal traps and puzzles to challenge you further. I also enjoy the music soundtrack and sci-fi sound effects. For only $5, it's a great value! Check out my gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYEvMpp7NHI&t=184s3 found this helpful
Twisted (and Twisted: Enhanced Edition) is an indie-made sci-fi puzzle and combat platformer, developed by “Games by Brundle”, currently on Early Access on Steam. The game currently features no backstory, however, the mechanics and puzzles were enough to keep me amused for a while. The graphics are low-res, but pretty and charming. The music fits the scene well and helps to calm your nerves on the harder levels, and the enemies and obstacles vary enough to keep this game interesting until the end. Twisted is short and simple, but by no means easy. If you like a challenge, some physics-altering gadgets, or a charming platformer, this game is probably for you.1 found this helpful
