I wish this game had more public attention, Ultimate Hero is so good! I live for slap battles, and bask in glory from beating down a deity! The learning curve isn't that bad, you just have to be patient. Endless mode isn't worth playing unless you have an OP build. For just 10 Dollars you're getting a lot of replay value. Give it a try!1 found this helpful
Ultimate Hero is a roguelite deckbuilding adventure that blends martial arts themes, tactical combat, and randomized progression into a surprisingly engaging package. Developed by Fishwharf and published by IndieArk, the game places players on a journey to become the strongest warrior in a world filled with powerful opponents, challenging encounters, and opportunities to master increasingly complex combat techniques. While the deckbuilding genre is crowded with competitors, Ultimate Hero manages to stand out by combining card-based strategy with dice mechanics and skill customization systems that encourage experimentation throughout every run. The game's combat system serves as its greatest strength. Rather than relying solely on drawing the right cards at the right time, battles demand careful consideration of positioning, timing, and resource management. Every encounter feels like a strategic puzzle where players must decide whether to attack aggressively, defend against incoming threats, or set up devastating combinations for future turns. The inclusion of dice-based elements introduces a layer of uncertainty that keeps battles dynamic and prevents strategies from becoming over…
Really fun game. I love the option of being able to go 6x speed for long-time roguelike deckbuilder players
Fantastic - complex builds, but super fun and not discouraging.
very good game. 35 minute runs. 15h content. +fast-paced and easy-to-play +varied characters, builds, relics, customizations.
i bought it out of curiosity since it looked unique, and it's 10x better than i ever could've expected, very innovative and solid strategy roguelike! my only complaint is that the tutorials for new skills are slow and unnecessary, but the gameplay is worth it
