Ultra Mega Cats

This game is out for a year, first time playing i finished the whole run without any upgrades and i thought oh, maybe there is a difficulty scaling for better loot and a harder challenge... there isn't. There is no point in replaying a run I'm sure to finish and only get my character stronger, making the game even more easy. The concept is there, the art style is nice. I want to support it but, I do not recommend it at this point and time, you'll be wasting your money on a game you don't have a reason to play more than a 1 hour run. Hopefully this will get fixed because there is potential.

its fun but after the second boss room it was all just aggressive static, couldnt see inything but that update: my display port cable went out, not the games fault its a good game update update: not the cord, games fault

Just wanted to throw up a review aimed at Linux users. It works under at least Nobara 44 (which is Fedora based). You just need to enable compatibility for Proton 11.0 in order for Steam to let you even install it though. Other than that, it seems like it runs well with the little bit that I have played it so far with no other tweaks.

well worth it on sale. is certainly a bit grindy at the start, i found it a little to hard at the start till i got a few upgrades. most reviews seem to say its a bit to easy, so quite likely i just suck. the co-op can only be joined before you start your run. hopefully they keep updating it, its definately got potiential and certainly is worth the sale price. edit: im not changing to a negative, ive enjoyed the game and gotten my moneys worth out of it. BUT as others have mentioned in reviews and on the forums once you get complete the entire first level and warp into the second one, shortly after screen has artifacting and glitching for some people now its not game breaking, you can finish the level and warp back to the base but it is very hard and not fun. i also have had a few game breaking bugs but they are a lot more rare and happen on the first stage (you basically fall through the floor and the screen goes pink.) that one sadly does ruin the run, usually happens in one particular room you dont seem to get every run and sometimes as you entire the rat king half way boss. it is early access so things like these are to be expected and i still stand by grab it on sale, if…

I really enjoyed it, I'm looking forward to seeing how the game updates. Will definitely come back when achievements are added ;)
