Umpteenth Photo

Little explanation on the controls and no control mapping. Just wasd to move around and press tab to show your player inventory menu. You cannot move the camera around your player and i feel stuck in a certain view angle. If your sprite is 2d in a 3d world, you need to be able to move the camera around your character. The game is just roaming around take a picture when a civilian raises his hand with some greenyellow circle flashing on the ground. The music is pretty annoying. Just shake your mouse to unlock the polaroid picture. I wish i could left click on my character and look at the nice environment which is what this dev is known for in his other walking sims game. For 1$ not worth it to me, looks like it could be a free mobile game. I prefer saving my 1$ for something better,

With some much needed adjustments and changes, this game could have been okay. But as it is of now, you can easily skip it. Play TB's much better walking simulators instead. I grew up in the generation where they taught you that if you didn't have anything nice to say, you just don't say anything. So here's the nice thing I have to say about Umpteenth Photo: you can vaguely tell where the whistling sound is coming from. -------- Just kidding! Umpteenth Photo is a game with a premise that could work, in a few different ways. You could do a "professional photography" game in the vein of Crazy Taxi, which is what this game kind of attempts to do. You could make a detective-type game where the protagonist has to carefully line up shots and the story slowly unravels through evidence caught on camera. You could even make a game where some young girls go to a haunted house and have to take pictures of ghosts, but that would just be silly. The point is, this concept can work. It needs a bit of gameplay, I think it would work best with some manner of story, and most importantly, it needs decent graphics and, you know, a way to view your photos rendered in those nice graphics. I like this for exactly what it is - a 'fun little something' by a dev I like to support. The pace of progression felt just right.
