Unclogged

A solid short horror experience. The puzzles and environment remind me of amnesia albeit with a sillier plot but the foreboding environment is ever present. If you think you'd like puzzle heavy horror games or want to get into them, this is the perfect introduction.

If you told me 5 years ago I'd be screaming at a digital toilet, I'd have laughed. But Unclogged made me eat my own words! Unclogged is the first game to make me scared of my own bathroom. Real talk this my favorite game of 2024. It's spooky, the puzzles are great, and everything looks cool. The graphics are so realistic I could almost smell the horror! What are you waiting for buy this game, put on a fresh adult diaper and log on.

The notes that come out of the typewriter are jacked up and you can't read them in the order intended. Had to brute force the padlock in the hallway. The ending was not worth the time and effort to finish the game. 4/10

As far as first time dev projects go, which this one felt like, it wasn't too bad. Hope the dev learned a lot and continues on their journey. Puzzles were decent except maybe one of the gems being in a obscure spot. I liked the notes and the cheesy poems. Did have a couple of game breaking bugs though. One where the notes spawned multiple copies on top of each other and couldn't be picked up and became unable to read. Save quit fixed that. One where the last note just didn't spawn and after multiple save and quits, I had to look up the solution. Also the last clue is misleading. Air=Shadow. Still a good stab at a game with some good atmosphere at times.

short puzzle game about exploring a mansion-like building to find a plunger to get the exit key. It had some interesting puzzles and the toilet theme was more kinda there than integral but it had a handful of puzzles that were at least something different than usual.

Holy crud! That was scary! I can't wait until PewDiePie does a let's play!
