The game starts off strong with a nice hand painted atmosphere, a dry & witty protagonist, and a well seeded mystery to keep you hooked through the first half. The writing is sharp amd the humour lands without undercutting the tension. The other half had a genuine writers block. The story drifts, the pacing stumbles, and the ending arrives without earning the emotional weight it spent hours building in the first half. The puzzle logic swings between sound real world logic and baffling so you end up brute forcing combinations rather than thinking. And some of the achievements are just arbitrary actions nobody would ever perform naturally, locking you out of entire chapters with zero indication they even existed. If you're playing this still, a guide is mandatory. Worth playing for the atmosphere and early writing alone, but don't expect the story to earn what it asks of you.

An adventure game that has aged even better with time. I played this in 2026 and themes like pandemics, conspiracies and a couple characters on both sides of the political aisles are depicted, without feeling exclusionary nor awkward in retrospect. Besides that it has a charming artstyle, very witty and funny characters and some of the greatest puzzles in these games, that both requires you to think, but you will very rarely need to look up a solution, a very hard balance to strike. A great game, that could stand toe to toe with the greats, if it was released in a time, where people appreciated this genre.

This game is GREAT! Puzzles, comedy, mystery. The animations are super cool. More people should be aware of this game and play it!

Very, very good modern adventure game, but not quite great. Definitely worth playing, if only for the literal LOL quips - the writing is fantastic, as is the voice acting, which is very unusual coming from a German (or any non-native English speaking) dev. The graphic style and art is IMO stunning - every scene I came onto, I just sat there for a second, looking around and enjoying the incredible style. Animation gets a C-, but who cares when its drawn so beautifully. Technically, the animation is the only ding I have against this excellent game, and from a story/adventure/game design POV, it maybe was a little long in the tooth, and I was even hoping I was close to the end at probably around the 75% mark. Not because it wasn't good, but maybe a little too much Fedexing and back and forth and re-treading here, even acknowledging that that is kind of core to most adventure games - a bit much in this title. Still, absolutely worth a purchase, and kudos to the devs, especially for the writing and voice acting, Both of those are 10/10. One other minor point: if you have a very (ultra?) widescreen monitor, you will need to fiddle a bit with the settings (hold down the …

This was a great adventure/puzzle type game with an interesting story. Would like to see a sequel. Highly recommend.

The art style, the voice acting, the puzzles. I bought this years ago and still play it with some frequency—it's excellent and holds up.
