King's Quest

Played the first 3 in 2015 and am now finishing the last two. They're great games. I could say A LOT about these games, especially in a time where games are being more mediocre. At the time this game came out, it wasn't seen like an AAA/AA game (like it might be considered today, since it's already definitely an A game and has been one) -- it was seen as more of a downloadable Xbox-arcade-type game, especially since only the first chapter was released at launch, but these are THE BEST games, and this one is the exact same way. I forgot a lot of games I play, but I never forget these. Chapter 4 was great -- a little different than the first once because there's a lot of the same type of puzzles, but I didn't mind -- I liked all the ice puzzles. Also, this game is 10+ years old now, so I think we are due for another. Sierra needs to make a new one. Great story, too.

literally one of the best of all time

I can't recommemd. Not only was it very silly, and chidish, but the puzzles are very difficult to solve due to poor controls. I suspect this was a console port. There is no manual save so every time you die, most often due to poor controls, you have to re-watch the silly "do as I do" cutscene with no way to skip it. The graphics on the OG are beyond dated, but it was a lot more fun.
