Unpossess 2: Exorcism Simulator

I come at this from the perspective of someone who has not played the first game. I also tend to look for a single player experience, given that it can be difficult to coordinate with others. It seems fairly evident that it is designed around multiplayer and while that is completely fair, I cannot recommend it at present from a solo perspective. First, the sound stage, atmosphere, and effects really are quite good all things considered. If you are looking for and enjoy a game that dials up the apprehension & raises the hair on your arms, this might be for your group. Obviously, as an early access title I don't expect things to be polished and this game definitely needs its time to cook. There were things unexplained as far as gameplay that had I the time to experiment, I may have figured out, but In my opinion, on a first play through, things like how an exorcism works, what icons mean, what the glowing breakable boxes that do nothing are for, etc should be made clear up front, or you risk trading immersion for frustration. I'm not entirely sure why my attempts failed. In one case it said the possessed had died, but fails also gave a wrongly identified demon as the cause, despite…

As the game stands right now It's not really anything spectacular. Needs a bit more refining and work done. That said i don't hate it and i think with some work it could be an amazing game to play. Had fun with my friends even with the bugs and sort of lack luster ghost/demon hunting aspects of this and i think in the long run having fun is what it's all about. Could be a bit more scary. The exorcism aspect of this was a bit dull too instead of something epic we get a few spins and then DEMON GONE.

Game is a little toooo easy, only thing stopping my duo and I from completing intense is time constraints, bit more playtime and Im sure we can do it but doubt I'll play this much more Steam achievements are bugged as well It is a decent game to play if youre bored and need something to play for a few hours but I highly doubt the majority are gonna touch this for longer than 5 hours

SO MUCH FUN! The sounds and jump scares are so scary. I also love how quickly issues are fixed once brought to the developer's attention.

Really enjoying this one. There’s a lot happening at once, and that’s honestly what makes it work so well. Trying to manage everything while keeping the victim alive creates this constant pressure that keeps you on your toes. The atmosphere is also really well done. The sounds, environmental details, and little things happening around you keep you immersed and add to the tension without feeling forced. I was gifted a key prior to release and have been able to play through several updates. It’s been great seeing the game continue to get more polished with each patch. There’s a lot of potential here, and I really like the direction it’s going. Definitely worth checking out, and I’d love to keep testing and see what the team adds next!
