Urbance Clans Card Battle! is a rather poor ripoff of games like MtG: Arena and Hearthstone, but this costs money and those are free to play if you don't mind grinding. This is a weak Cyberpunk themed CCG where you battle various enemies in a linear campaign... and don't get too excited about there being a campaign because there's not many fights, little to no story, and what story there is, is weak and badly written. That leaves the game itself... which will make you want to leave, too. If Magic is the Chess of CCGs and deckbuilders, this is Candyland with the board torn in half and some of the pieces missing. While it works, it's just rudimentary with little variation, not much in the way of combos or strategy... even "casual" deckbuilders like Slay the Spire have more going on than this. And there's very little variety in the cards, either, and not much theme. You'll basically be shoving your cards up against identical cards from the enemy. Talk about bland. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the si…4 found this helpful
Shame, such great artistry, music, concept, theme, all wasted on dubious management decisions. Next time work more on difficulty with a balance team. Fully random start and 30 cards vs way too many NPC cards... P.S. This game is so niche that if you enjoy bashing your head against a wall until you succeed in bleeding, you really cant have more fun doing so than with this one. I am sure some people will ABSOLUTELY enjoy it. I did too at first but then not so much.2 found this helpful
Welcome to Urbance, a neo-futuristic realm characterized by vibrant, stylish, and distinctive colors that are sure to captivate you. I discovered this game while exploring various "card games" available on Steam. Intrigued by the potential of its deckbuilding and card battling mechanics, I decided to give it a try. The card battling system is organized into five "lanes," where fighters engage the opponents directly in front of them. Each fighter can attack immediately upon being played, and all combat occurs during the player's turn. Your deck consists of 30 cards, with a limit of two copies for each card. The game adopts a mana system similar to Hearthstone, granting one additional mana each turn, up to a maximum of 10, although certain cards can expedite this process. Considering its price, I believe it offers reasonable value, featuring appealing artwork and somewhat average mechanics. However, it is not a game I would choose to play repeatedly.1 found this helpful
this game is one of my favorite! also back in 2016 i'm Huge Fans of the anime Urbance!
It might be a little unbalanced in the late game and the reliance on a lucky draw order is annoying. The Ghetto Cardfight! (tm, just kidding) context is pretty cool. I got this from Fanatical for close to nothing.
