Painfully slow combat, with no options to speed up animations or movement. If you want combat to take a reasonable amount of time, you'll need to use CheatEngine to speedhack the enemy turns. Stupid AI that will see enemies run around out in the open, ignore cover, or just cower in a corner and never move anywhere. Then there are the scripted story missions, which you MUST complete if you wish to unlock customization options for your custom gang. One mission has a 3 round time limit, in which you must defeat an opposing gang and secure an elevator. You start in a massively advantageous position, with the high ground and only one path up to your platform. The enemies, instead of moving toward your positions and trying to take you down, cowers in corners - not even behind cover, just out in the open - as far away as possible from you, as if knowing that you have a time limit - forcing you to leave your defenses and hunt them down. What sort of stupidity is that? In addition, when you try to secure the elevator, the power is down so you need to go calibrate 3 generators. Talk about poor trial-and-error design. 3 rounds. Gameplay wise this is a step down from Mordheim, but it does have better graphics. The enemy AI is abysmal which doesn't give the game much tension. Instead, some missions artificially restrict your time which feels cheap. I do not recommend.

Terrible game. The theme is neat. I like how gritty it looks. The character seem neat. I like how gritty they look. That's about it. The combat isn't strategic at all, when characters can run half the map, jump off a roof, shoot my person twice, run back across the map and up 4 stories to hide behind a wall in a single turn. Just make it a FPS with crappy companions and that might actually be fun. The music is pointless. It sounds like it fits the world/theme well, but it's sedate and quiet, even on max volume. Doesn't get you pumped up or anything. It's just kinda there like an afterthought. The voice acting is really bad. Everyone sounds asleep. Customize your gang; after you slog through 15 tedious campaign missions.
