Villain's Legacy 2

to start off ya the 1st one was great, but the 2nd was great in a different way. it forgoes the free roam gadget building play style for a great and somewhat emotional story. i fell in love with the music and the comedy and the attachment of the girls. story still has the comedy of the first but really goes for the emotional story and at the end i was like dont go...... choices dont seem to really change the story so not sure if its worth multiple play throughs, but the story was worth at least 1 playthrough. loved it 9/10

...???!!! what was that? It's a develop Stockholm syndrome and romance your captures prison game. I don't even know why I had to answer questions about my choices from the first game... what do they get an honorable mention somewhere? Whiplash from the first one. This is a complete bait and switch for returning players. An actual parody of it's predecessor.

This is a very different game from the first one, but by the end of Part 1, I found myself wanting more. Since this is Early Access, I suppose this review will have to be incomplete. The art is better than the previous game. I may try this game from the other path, but I'm happy where it is going. Some of the decisions seem odd. The story seems kind of lost in the beginning, but it really improves after figuring out what the game is trying to do. The first game is quirky in a different way, but this is really a different kind of story, so I can see it being jarring for some. I'm looking forward to Part 2.

A more straight-forward linear story than [i]Villain's Legacy 1[/i] but with much the same humor, heart, and sexy ladies as the first. I rather liked the author's experiments with different animation sequences and the odd-ball distant future timeline told in a confessional prison-cell style - but it [i]is[/i] a linear narrative, and that's not to everyone's taste. The story will also require a [i]Villian's Legacy 3[/i] I think, as the story concludes at an "Act II" break point in the hero's journey.

I'm gonna recommend this game to those that appreciated the story in the first game but don't mind not having the gameplay aspect that was in the first like having to make money to build weapons in order to carry out plans. This one is more of a visual novel in which you basically read a story. There are a few choices to make but I don't think they change anything. So basically if you are expecting more on the gameplay as the first one then pass on it. If you are interested enough in the story without the gameplay then I recommend it. I enjoyed it.

Not a bad sci fi adventure. Cant wait for a continuation.
