Virtua Unlimited Project is a 2D pixel-art style action game featuring VTuber characters. This is a world exclusively belonging to all sorts of Vtubers active in cyberspace. Playing as Aizawa Kana, a hot Vtuber, you will venture into this NEO Babylon world and fight with Vtubers capable of different superpowers. Will they appear as someone you are familiar with or challenge you with strange abilities? Don’t let your guard down!
With core gameplay inspired by Rxxkman-Z series on GBA, this game combines many excellent features including adorable pixel visuals, classical platformer gameplay, retro combat designs, and many more exploration elements. Moreover, role-playing elements are emphasized enough for you to savor every moment of glitz and glamour of each Vtuber.

Humanity will be extinguished within a century.
To save humanity, Dr. Hungerz Ridley proposed the#K{{ \}}.
According to it, all humans would hibernate in pods while nanobots work on the ecological restoration of Earth.
When awake, humans could start a new life in the reborn world.
The plan succeeded. Two new things emerged in the new world.
One is \, or E.S.P in short.
The other is \, also known as Chaos.

With the supernatural power from E.S.P, they fight on the front line against chaos.
At the forefront of every industry, they play an active role in boosting global development through E.S.P.

By defeating "Operator" Bosses, players can acquire some parts of Bosses’ powers and attributes. The attribute growth can also enhance players’ support skills and activate EX Skill.

There are element counter rules among Bosses, and knowing how to exploit this is key to victory.

The game introduces action system highlighted by the "Extreme Flying Kick." It can be used to interact with environments and enemies, and grants the character a brief period of invincibility after kicking the target. It can be canceled out by other special moves, providing a combination of different tricks to be explored!

This is the closest thing to the Megaman Zero series, in everything minus story/characters that are the only part that is underwhelming and really doesn't make sense at times. Everything down to the animations, core gameplay loop while building on using the abilities as a key part of platforming which is a bit different from Megaman Zero. Really enjoyable game, which seems to be built on being very replay-able with it's multiple playthroughs!3 found this helpful
This game is "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" incarnate. If you took everything great about the Mega Man Zero/ZX games but the main character and 8 bosses were Vtubers (non that I've heard of to be quite honest), you'd get this game. That can be a good or a bad thing depending on how much you love those specific, challenging Mega Man games. Sometimes it's a simple reference that leaves me saying "oh cute, I recognize that thing!" to other times things are more blatant leaving me asking "Did they not just trace over official game assets?" The story is pretty mid and tries its best to be philosophical, but again comes across as parroting the games that inspired this. Fortunately with the gameplay, they managed to copy/cover all the things that made those games play great. - Kana is straight up a Zero clone with the movement physics feeling as tight as the original. - Kana's EX-Moves don't require some bs to unlock like they did in the Zero games, allowing you to play her how you want - The summons mechanic is incredibly cool (probably the one of the few original things I liked from this game) - The most important thing to me in these type of games are the boss fi…1 found this helpful
Basically a Mega Man Zero/ZX based game, reskinned with anime girls and a femboy with good art and design. Some NPC's conversation respectfully reminds of good old games.
It is a love letter to the Mega Man Zero series. Basically Mega Man Zero with modern QoL features and it is much more casual friendly. The DLC is definitely worth it for the 2 amazing fights and their soundtrack. Here's some tips for newer players: It has the same combo system from Mega Man Zero allowing you to do chain damage during the "invincible frame" as long as the follow up attack is after the previous attack in the follow order: Charged shot -> Charged Slash -> Triple Slash -> [spoiler]Rising Slash -> Plunging Thrust -> Lai Slash -> [/spoiler]Diving Kick -> Support Attack And for the boss elemental weakness it is [spoiler]Ice > Thunder > Wind > Fire > Ice[/spoiler] Highly recommend playing the game analytic yet aggressive to get the most fun out of it, This kind of game feels amazing to play in a faster pace.
Hands down the best Megaman Zero inspired game I’ve ever played. It’s challenging and filled with lots of secrets and refs. Highly recommend to any MM fan.
As a veteran MMZ player, ABSOLUTE PEAK 100/100, I wish that the game will get a sequel.
