About Virus Kombat

This is a simple game, retro style, with pixelated graphics, monophonic audio, easy commands and good gameplay, using only the directional keys on your keyboard or a USB control you must collect the vials with the medicines that will appear in the scenario, after that go to the hospital to create the vaccine to defeat the virus.
The game has two portals, one on each side of the scene, where the player can teleport from side to side of the scene in order to escape the virus.
At the beginning of the game, the player must collect 10 vials to produce the cure and at each completed level, 5 more vials will be added to the count. After 10 levels of difficulty have been completed, the virus is completely eliminated and the game is ended, saving the player's score in home screen.

Virus Kombat is a "template flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template or using a game construction kit, and changing a few things. In this case it was a game construction kit/template for doing a simple arcade themed 2D top down retro pixel twin brawler/shooter with an arcade cabinet/screen filter shtick slapped around it offensively. I am sure if they had known Virus Kombat would be an indirect outcome of this engine, they would have cancelled it. This is deplorably low quality bundle trash. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, copying a template/using a game construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for…

A decent arcade game about collecting items and avoiding collecting other items without touching enemies. Simple as that. If you like such games, then it's ok.

immediately love it. it has a nice UI (the retro arcade cabinet, the joystick movement), satisfying to play with a bluetooth controller. i would have paid more for it, regardless of how it was made. my thumbs got tired of playing before i did. <3
