Volleyborne: Unbound Horizons

Lowkey the most realistic volleyball game ive played, also helped me learn 5-1 rotation in real life, spiking is a bit difficult but after u learn how to spike, the game is so fun to play, also met a lot of awesome people who i still talk to today! I recommend this game, this game is awesome.

This is hands-down the best volleyball game i have ever played. Yes,the game has alot of bugs and unfinished stuff (what early access doesnt) but i can tell that this game is headed towards the right direction and the potential is very high. I hope this game improves more and gains a bigger audience because it is a hidden gem.

I've had this game for quite a long time now, and what I would like to say, is that it is the best volleyball game I've ever played. It's quite challenging at the beginning, but once you get used to it, it's SO fun. Not to mention how realistic it is. Overall, it's a great game, the devs are cool, the devs update they game frequently, and lately the community has been so active. 10/10 would recommend if you like VB or sports in general

The game is honestly really fun once you learn how to play. At first, I almost quit because it felt extremely difficult, but after getting used to the mechanics, I started enjoying it a lot. The mechanics are great, especially the variety between receiving, blocking, setting, and other actions. Setting in particular feels really satisfying. However, the game still feels unfinished, and there are some things I hope get improved: * The bots are way too strong and almost never make mistakes. I understand that I can improve, but when the AI plays almost perfectly while a real player naturally makes mistakes, it becomes frustrating rather than challenging. Their movement also feels very robotic. * Sometimes bots get stuck at the net and can't recover. * Spiking is extremely difficult to learn. Even after practicing a lot, I can only get it right occasionally, and even then it's rarely a perfect spike. I still don't really understand what I'm doing wrong. * I would love a 3v3 mode. Even if it isn't based on real volleyball matches, I think it would be really fun. * There aren't many maps, and you can't freely choose one because the game mode decides it for you. * Starting a new match …

Okay, I really love the first-person aspect of Volleyborne. There really isn't anything else like it on the market right now, and I think they have a great concept going. I can't wait to see how the game develops. That said, there are definitely some issues that need improvement. The FPS requirements are surprisingly high, uniforms still glitch into the characters, and the character models hit the uncanny valley affect for me. I do hope we get better models at some point. The biggest issue for me, though, is the controls. They're extremely difficult to get used to and have honestly sucked some of the enjoyment out of the game. I've been trying to use the training mode to practice, but sometimes my game literally won't open it. Even when I can get into training, I've had issues where I can't access the settings or get back to the main menu without shutting down the entire game. I've also had several moments during matches where the game seems to freak out and suddenly I'm serving directly into a wall, or the other team is doing the same thing. I'm honestly not sure what's happening there. I really want to like Volleyborne, and I think there's a lot of potential here. There's not…

I first heard of this game from an old youtube post reviewing up and coming volleyball games. Needless to say, I'm glad I stumbled across that video. This game has potential like no other volleyball game I've ever came across. To think this is coming from a small development team, working hard with what they got and the schedule they probably have, to create a fun experience for their community. It's great. Just imagining how much more immersive the experience can get is a lovely thought.
