About Wall Street Tycoon

You just created an investment company. Now it’s time to hire some employees! With very limited funds, you must hire the best people to work at your company. Bankruptcy is always a threat and in order to stay profitable you must manage money and create an office that will maximum the performance of your employees.

Employees

Employee performance varies depending on your actions as CEO. When hiring employees, background checks provide information on employee traits such as aggression, work ethic, productivity, and happiness. Motivate your employees with events and games, but too much fun will lower productivity in the office.

Office

The office you build has direct relation to your bottom line. The environment shapes how much work your employees will get done, and that determines how much profit the entire company earns. Employees with few amenities and poor work conditions will have low morale and high turnover rates. However, with too many amenities, employees are more likely to be happy and unproductive.

Departments

Some departments generate money for the company (Investors, Lawyers). Others support the revenue making departments and increase their efficiency (Human Resources, IT Support). Balancing these departments as the company grows can be the difference between success and bankruptcy.

There’s a good idea here, a very simple tycoon game, but it just misses the mark. There are so many little things in this game that have you scratching your head wondering what you’re doing wrong, and it doesn’t help that the game does not tell you anything. No information on what the different departments do, no indication on what the “boosts” do, and overall just doesn’t exactly set you up for success from the beginning. I failed multiple times nearly right away, but, I guess that’s just what I get for working on Wallstreet, Some plus sides being, this game wasn't unplayable, I did feel some accomplishment when I actually started making a profit after screwing myself over, and also the dated memes from like 2016 were a nice flashback. Looking at you Ben Swolo. Anyways, I don’t recommend but, it wasn’t the worst thing.

There's literally no point. All I've been able to do is hire people & periodically train them but all the while hope they make money doing something. Meanwhile they complaint & none of the applicants are remotely worth the money I'm all for paying for good people but low or high salaries you better show some return. You can buy furniture & throw parties even pay for strippers lol but you can't do anything. You can't see what apparently the employees are investing in you cant do your own investing or go to the bank or investors for more money you can't talk with other companies. Its like you hire someone then sit in your office throwing a ball against the wall waiting for the big pay day or the bank to kick you out. Any other business game you hire people but do other things that help the employees &/or the company along with your character. You don't sell anything you don't buy anything I seriously don't get the point or how you make a profit. I made a profit for a money of $50 a day waah whoo which i used to throw a pizza party before we went broke lol. what generates income let alone profits in this game? it makes no sense to me.
