Weed Shop 4: Highland

The game is off to a bit of a rough start, just like its predecessor, but you can already see the potential. It’s coming together nicely, and with some time, updates, and polish, I’m sure it will get even better. Definitely worth sticking with and giving the developers some time to improve it. Looking forward to seeing where it goes!

not bad but weed shop 3 is better

I think a lot of the criticism surrounding Weed Shop 4 has been unnecessarily harsh. This is a relatively inexpensive game being developed by an extremely small team, with apparently only one primary programmer behind much of the development. On top of that, the game is clearly still in a very early stage and nowhere near what I would consider a finished beta, let alone a full release. That doesn't mean the game should be immune to criticism—Early Access exists partly so players can give feedback. But there's a big difference between constructive criticism and simply hating on an unfinished game for being unfinished. Considering the price, the size of the development team, and how early the game currently is, I think some players are expecting a level of polish that just isn't realistic yet.

The dev has been doing phenomenal work and has added a disclosure and a setting to disable ai generated ♥♥♥♥ which is more than you can say for some of these new games like cod 7. the game is playable just not much progression yet. This ♥♥♥♥ gon be the next weed shop 3 in like 3 years or sumn

Are there any workers for the shop yet, or are they coming soon?

EDIT: Feel bad leaving a negative review after noticing people review bombed the game for you using AI loading screens. That has nothing to do with this review. I saw this pretty late but snap bought it the moment I saw it because I loved WS3 and have a ton of hours in it. I can't get past a half hour of this one though, it's by far the jankiest game I've tried to play. I'm not sure how you could make that much of a step down from WS3. The graphics look a little better but felt like it was going to tank my RTX2060 even on medium. I know my system is getting a little dated, but jeez. So I've tried playing twice. First time, couldn't even get off the boat because of the graphical glitches. Had to restart to get to the island. Get to the island and the controls were almost unresponsive. Couldn't even get started. I figured I'd wait for a few patches to hit then the second time was just now and it seems like that it's almost worse. Get some empty bags to fill with soil. Fill one bag, go to the next to try and fill that and now bags are stuck to my hands while I've got nothing equipped. I really want to love this and give this another go and am not asking for a refund out…
