About Welcome to ParadiZe

✦ AI summary

Recruit and control zombies to do your bidding as you explore a colorful post-apocalyptic world, build and defend your camp, and survive encounters with hostile creatures and locals. Team up with up to three friends in co-op to tackle expeditions, set traps, and gradually upgrade your base while managing your unpredictable undead workforce.

Do you want your very own zombie companion? A faithful friend that protects you from its peers and accompanies you on all your adventures? At ParadiZe, we make it happen! Here, the zombies do all the dirty work.

In the beautiful country of ParadiZe, ingenious survivors are testing a technology that can be used to control the zombies that have overrun the world. Once hacked, they become invaluable allies, even though they are not that smart and sometimes rather unstable.
It's not all rosy in ParadiZe, but if you're reasonably clever and handy, maybe you'll manage to survive…

Explore ParadiZe and meet a colourful cast of extraordinary characters. The unusual flora and fauna will surprise you at every turn. Set out on adventure, in the snow or desert, alone or with your Zombot companions, and feel free to get rid of any pests that try to disturb your stay with us.
Fancy an expedition into the wilderness or would you prefer to laze about at your camp? It's your choice, so tailor your stay as you see fit!
However, we recommend not getting too close to the locals: they can be somewhat… aggressive.

Shortly after arriving, you must build your camp, a cosy little nest that you can gradually upgrade. Comfort is important, but don't forget to set up defences! Add multiple traps and fortifications to repel zombies, which have the bad habit of never leaving you alone.
It takes effort to maintain a camp, but if you don't like such menial tasks, don't worry: as we already told you, zombies do all the dirty work here.

You can be a loner during your stay or more sociable.
Invite up to three of your friends so they can enjoy this unforgettable experience with you.
ParadiZe welcomes everyone with open arms!
Played for 23 hours, enjoyed 3
Probably one of the worst 4th person zombie games I have ever played. Story = a terrible unimaginative mock of Elon Musk, like the man or hate him, this is just lazy to say the least, idea an execution made by someone who thinks knock knock jokes are peak comedy. base building = bland, pointless and simply sad, once again just a terrible design and execution. weapons = not too bad gets a bit boring about midway. TBH the particulars do not get better, the entire game was just bad, design to execution. I have played worse but not many. I really think this game should be removed and forgot about.

Welcome to ParadiZe is the absolute definition of a game that doesn't take itself too seriously. You're led to believe in a somewhat believable plot from a guy with a striking resemblance to Elon Musk, only for it all to turn out as a big, fat lie. It will stretch your patience to a point where it becomes laughable, and that's exactly the point. You will jump through every hoop; there's a catch to absolutely everything, and it purposefully goes out of its way to test and annoy you. I understood what the game was doing, and I found it humorous and enjoyable. For co-op players, this enjoyment will be raised all the more. EKO excelled with WTP, taking huge technical leaps when compared to the aged How to Survive franchise in terms of texture work, which is at a AAA standard. The game is beautiful to look at and is very well optimized. I enjoyed my time with WTP, and I didn't encounter a single noteworthy bug or crash, which speaks volumes about its overall level of polish. Being a few years since release, I'd like to see Nacon revise the pricing on this title to attract more impulse buyers into the experience. If the base game was at £16.99 down from £24.99, the supporter's edition wa…

The game is pretty good and doesn't require a beast of a computer, but from what I feel after playing it, you'll only enjoy it if you're into this niche type of gameplay and story. The characters are pretty basic and annoying, although they're sometimes funny. There are a lot of pop culture references that, even two years later, still land the way I imagine the developers intended. Definitely get it on sale—it's not worth the regular €30 price. If you think you'd be interested at all, I suggest giving it a try. If I had to be critical about anything, though, it would be how much the game slows down in the final 10 hours. Not much really happens; it's mostly just walking around and trying to survive in harsh conditions, without being told that a certain Zombot upgrade you can get will make the whole journey much easier.
