Well-crafted HOPA with lots to do and a good variety of puzzles. This is the second game in the series, and picks up several years after the first game: the protagonist is the young scientist's fiancee, instead of his mother (who does appear in the game). There are lots of traditional HO scenes of the word list type. If you're looking for a well-paced game with a historical, early sci-fi setting (late 1920s), this will appeal. The game is not original to wide screen, but the adaptation is better than most. It is a game designed to be savored at a relaxed pace, drawing players in with atmosphere and narrative rather than challenge alone. The story begins on the brink of celebration, only to take a dramatic turn when tragedy interrupts what should have been a joyful wedding. A loved one is poisoned, and the protagonist’s fiancé — a scientist holding vital knowledge for a cure — is abducted by a mysterious and unstable inventor. This inciting incident propels the player into a strange and colorful journey across unfamiliar dimensions, blending personal motivation with fantastical adventure. While the tone remains accessible and often lighthearted, the emotional h…1 found this helpful
I found this to be a somewhat simple but delightful HOG.1 found this helpful
The game was pretty good, with plenty of cats added into the areas, and in the Achievements section, there is a cat that you can click on and it does stuff. 8/10
Plot is confusing, but I had fun.
