Sweet, simple, low maintanence idle game that reminds me a lot of the old flash games I had saved on my first PC. Get it running in the background in your second monitor (or your first, whatever) and tab it in and out every once in a while. Decorating your aquariums over time and eventually acquiring enough money to do the fun little fishing minigames gives you fun little nuggets of passive enjoyment. Sounds cheesy, but that's how it feels like to me. I recommend it a lot to anyone who wants to add it into their library of idle games.2 found this helpful
pretty cool game. I play it during lectures at uni or while watching movies or ytb. I would love to make the decorations go all the way to the top of the aquarium as right now I cannot make some of them big enough but it is no biggie2 found this helpful
This is the coolest aquarium game I've ever seen because it all takes place on the desktop, unlike many aquarium-themed desktop games. It has good gameplay and nice fish. It's really good. Overall, I give it a thumbs up🐟
Fih game
Cozy idle clicker game where you can set your own virtual aquarium and leave it running while you do something else on the background. Surprisingly the UI of the game doesn't clutter your desktop much because the game is very lenient on setting the size of your aquarium. The gameplay loop of buying fishes, watching it grow then selling it to acquire new types of fishes or decoration is nicely paced, it leaves a lot of room for players to progress and build the aquarium of their imagination. The music is nice and calming but may get repetitive due to how often the main track loops so oftentimes I just mute the game while playing something else as audio. Will definitely appreciate more music variety in this regard. Lastly, performance is a no-issue considering I've run the game alongside other heavy-load apps without noticing significant drop in performance. Overall, it's a nice little gem on Steam. For the price tag it asks, it's definitely worth it.
Fun and inexpensive decorative idle game. My favorite part of it is furnishing aquariums with plants and ornaments and seeing all the different types of fish swim in the tank. The progression is well paced and the music is nice. Fish tanks can be upgraded to automatically clean and distribute food. You can manage multiple aquariums of varying sizes and sell your fish for profit. To progress you play a mini-game where you set out on a boat in search of new species in different areas as your Aquarist level increases, some are more rare, harder to catch and more valuable than others. Perfect for some idle screen flourish while doing other tasks as it does not take the entire screen and is semi transparent and can be minimised as a background task while waiting for fish to grow.
