The gameplay is very simple. The goal is to cut the sheep's wool so you can earn more money so you can get more sheep. If your sheep falls over you have to interact with it before it will grow more wool so therefore I feel like it isn't a true idle game. I wish there was more progression options so you could have it truly idle. I also wish you could move your fences around after you place them. Over all. Its okay

How does this game not have more reviews? I thoroughly had a great time playing it. There are lil' sheep. You pet them, you collect more sheep, you sheer them, you love them. They tip over, and you pick them up. What else could you want in a game? Guns? Nonsense. I love my sheep. Would sheep again. Some of the patterns were gorgeous. Cons? I would have absolutely loved a way to see all the sheep and sort them and not just a generic list of all the ones I've found. It was hard figuring out the doubles sometimes. Finished? Yes Steam Achievements? Yup! Some RNG but I only got 0.5% annoyed. Steam Deck? Super cute and simple. I like sheep baaaaaa ~ I thought the art looked familiar to me, and then I realized it's bc they made Garden Galaxy too!!! Really looking forward to any other games this developer makes because I just love their art style so much. <3

Woolly is a cute sheep collection game where you buy lambs or breed sheep to discover new wool colors and patterns. Overall I feel somewhere between positive and neutral about it. The sheep are very cute with whimsical wool patterns. The animations for shearing, wool growth, and the sheep tipping over are delightful. Progress, however, is painfully slow and even with upgrades it requires too much babysitting for how little in-game money you earn. Plus the cost of new lambs just keeps increasing far past what you might earn for selling an extra adult sheep. So I'd say this game is more for people with infinite patience.
