Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife, developed and published by Fast Travel Games, is a first-person VR horror exploration game set in the World of Darkness universe. Released on April 22, 2021, the game immerses players in the role of Ed Miller, a photographer who dies during a mysterious séance and becomes a Wraith—a restless undead spirit with unfinished business. The narrative unfolds within the eerie confines of the Barclay Mansion, a decaying estate filled with Hollywood decadence, occult research, and terrifying entities. The game's atmosphere is one of its most compelling aspects. The mansion is meticulously designed, with each room and hallway contributing to a sense of dread and unease. The use of lighting and sound design enhances this atmosphere, with distant footsteps, creaking floorboards, and whispering voices heightening the tension. The developers have been praised for creating an environment that doesn't rely on jump scares but instead builds a consistent and unsettling mood throughout the experience. Gameplay in Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife emphasizes exploration and stealth over combat. As Ed Miller, players utilize supernatural abilities such as Insubstantia…

Not bad, not great, but if you're looking for a solid VR horror evasion game this fits the bill, featuring some varied, interesting, and tense monsters that don't overstay their welcome and only occasionally gets too annoying.

This game can't be pasued, thats a failure of basic functionality. I still cant figure out whats wrong with the audio and having no pause menu makes it way more tedious to even try to fix. Having to go to a seperate program in my desktop to turn off the game is like having to go inside the house to flip a switch to shut off my cars engine. I should be able to stop the running engine from inside the car.

A decent game I would pay 5-10 bucks for. Apart from some minor bugs with loading levels or when leaving the headset on the ground I see no problems. Good voice acting, interesting story that isn't immediately obvious and even some bold gameplay choices. Played on Index. Kinda reminded me of Hinge VR

Supposedly I played this for 13 mins, considering I have to put effort into booting up and putting on my headset, I doubt this time was spent AFK at the title screen. The fact that I remember NOTHING about this game tells you everything you need to know.
