Revenants: Spirit & Mind

Although it's still in early access I feel this game has a lot of potential if the devs stick with it. For now you get 1 mission, but for me it's still incomplete. More on that below. First off is a game that's pretty similar to Phasmophobia in which you hunt for clue about the current demon or ghost. You capture the demon & find clues about how the subject was killed & what happened. The game has a decent amount of spookiness to it, all though there are some features that should be added for some atmosphere. OK my problems with the game so far is after I completed the mission & went back to the basement, collected all the evidence & captured the demon, nothing happens. I applied all the evidence to the wall & just nothing but credits on the tablet. I'm assuming this is just the end of the game so far, but not sure. Some of the sounds in the game are way too inconsistently loud., also there's no background audio just silence. This may just be due to the nature of the game. The tablet will slowly drift away from your hand & you have to re-grip it to reset it back to it's position. This will happen while you're being hunted & it gets annoying after a while. Played on both Samsung Odyssey+ and Quest 2 with Link. I beta tested this game before it was released. It's a nice atmospheric horror game with a bit of story and great environments. Graphics are decent. The developer legitimately puts good work into the game, and addressed all of the bugs that I found in the beta. I highly recommend giving this one a try.

Revenants: Spirit & Mind is a VR Action / Horror game. it worked on my HTC Vive, Meta Quest 3 via Steam Link and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You have tools to catch demons with. There is only one mission with the base game, another mission might be released as DLC later. The inventory system is clunky. Maybe buy on sale or wait for release from EA. Like most games that just released from small Indie Devs, it has its share of bugs. But if you can look past that it's the perfect game for what it is. A great "ghost hunting" game that gives you an interesting single-player experience looking for clues/evidence and solving cases all while being hunted by ghost along the way. Although I love a Co-Op experience I can understand/appreciate how they've created the way their game is to be played. All in all for the price it's listed at ($12.99), I think the game has a fair amount of content, and the Devs can't do anything now but add more along the way with support.

Revenants first off, is a very immersive VR gaming experience. It will scare you, wear your brown pants. In the game we play a Occult investigator, that collects evidence of demonic forces, then hunts them down. We have a range of high tech toys to work with. We are on a cold case called Spirt & Mind, its a old case of a missing school girl. We will be exploring a creepy old school, where we must investigate and collect evidence of demonic forces, then try to survive and hunt them down. This game gives me strong vibes of the TV show Supernatural, with the Winchester brothers Sam & Dean. Unlike Sam & Dean though, I was not as brave, and the hair on my arms actually stood up at times. The game world is dark and scary, and will send chills down your spine. From the spooky looking dark school we explore to the great sounds and background music, you will feel like you are in a horror movie / show. Supernatural made this job look easy and fun. It was challenging and terrifying instead. I went into this think, hey I'm going to hunt down some demonic forces, I am going to be a tough guy like Sam & Dean or at least like a Ghostbuster.
