Build and manage your complete racing operation from mechanics to meteorologists while competing in a career mode and eSports scene with unprecedented depth.
With the new dynamic weather system, climatic conditions have true-to-life effects: rain and snowfall is now an important game feature as variable traction, different set-ups for each stage, tyre choice and shrewd use of the weather forecasting team all need to be considered.
The single-player Career mode has been rebuilt from the ground up: calendar management, R&D to improve performance, staff recruitment and management (mechanics, engineers, medical and weather teams, finance manager, etc.).
For multiplayer, weekly challenges and WRC eSports return, but the challenge and competition is now even stiffer.
With 50 teams, 14 rallies and over 100 special stages in the 2019 season, WRC 8 has the deepest content ever included in an off-road racing game.

It is a bit more arcade-y because the car helps you from gliding away in every curve. But the gameplay is still satisfying and completing a rally session on hard difficulty feels totally rewarding. And I like the idea that you only have 4 tries, but I still wish that I could completely turn it off, so that I don't get tempted to restart a race. Also a huge plus: You organize everything, such as which race you want to drive at a specific day or maybe you want to take a rest. Maybe you want a historical race. It's all up to you, but always check your team and give them the rest they deserve. 8,5/10 is my verdict

Physics & Weather Rating: The physics overhaul is excellent—the car handling feels incredibly responsive, and the dynamic weather system is a game-changer.
