This game had a striking similarity, so I asked the person who messaged me about it, yet they denied any association between them. I've checked both store pages on Steam, and they list themselves under different developer and producer names. Coincidences happen, and as it turns out, I dislike both games. Go figure.
Gameplay
You control an eyeball, which when placed in the maze-like arena of the game, has quite the resemblance to Pacman. Both are round characters, with a small section in the front that's different from the single color making up the rest. Though moving around the environment is much the same, your o…17 found this helpful
Xeyyex
A simple retro arcade game which is fun to play in small bursts but the lack of options means your interest wains quite quickly
Unashamedly retro and mimicking games like Pac Man, Xeyyex doesn’t try to be complicated and doesn’t need to be. It’s a shame there are no continues or different modes and features to spice it up a little.

The Grand Picture
Xeyyex is a simple grid-based arcade clone where you move around shooting enemies until they drop an “X” for you to pick up. Once you collect ten of these you move onto the next level. Not every enemy will drop an “X” though. It is purely random. You have three lives but can accumulate one more life every five thousand points. Points are earned by collecting ingots of either bronze, silver or gold which are randomly dropped onto the grid; These earn you one hundred, two hundred or five hundred points respectively. The game has a couple of limiters to make it more difficult. You have limited firepower and have limited time. You can increase your firepower and time levels by collecting ammo and clocks that are dropped. One ammo gives you thirty extra shots and one clock…10 found this helpful
A must have for Arcade style gamer. If bomberman has a badass friend XEYYEX would be his friend.10 found this helpful
This is another game that I have received on my curator account a long time ago. This is a game from the same MIBT developers, which I reviewed and I guess that's why they sent me a copy of this other game. However, although I have tried to contact the developers with a question, I have not received a response. This I have to say. As for the XEYYEX game, it is quite good, in fact I liked it more than MIBT. It is a mix between pacman, bomberman and the game of tanks. He has very good ideas, like the fact of always being aware of looking for points, ammunition, time and the letters "EXPLOSIVE", which will give you bombs and will be very necessary to get you out of trouble. Each screen adds a new enemy with a different behavior, and every 5 levels there is a level that consists of emptying the screen of pills as in pac man. It is very difficult, yes, I have not been able to overcome level 14. It can be played in coop mode, although I haven't tried it yet. recommended 8/10 Hey, if this review has been useful to you, you can follow me on: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38997970/2 found this helpful
Many games try to get the retro vibe but most do not achieve it. This one succeeds. It is hard but not extreamely hard. It is simple but not lacking. I will probably play it from time to time to beat my high score.1 found this helpful
Disclaimer: i got the key for free from the developer. Put that aside i would like to assure you that this review is the product of my free will and nothing else. Xeyyex is an indie game produced by Feruloxstudios a game studios in India and it's kinda a mix between PacMan and BomberMan: you have to move your character, a giant Eyeball, in these maze like levels while avoiding/killing enemies that are roaming around to make your escape to the next level. Xeyyex's philosophy is quite simple: easy to get in but hard to master. In order to survive each level you will need not only to collect things like points, normal ammo, additional time, letters to get special ammo for a bomb attack but also to learn the behavior of each enemy (but not the pathfinding which is random) and their weakness and you will also have to dodge some traps in certain levels. That's said, while you DO can try to farm points and get some additional lives in the early levels you also have to keep in mind that you will die in just one hit and that enemies will continue to spawn eventually overrunning you if you don't make your escape in time. You should also consider that you can't carry your additional time and …
