Xissai: the Snake Temple

Jes. No seriously... YES! The scene that greets you in the beginning of the game (the moon/shooting stars and the sun) is really beautiful and then the game launches into the story... With some rather haunting music! I THOUGHT this was going to be about uh... Male snake harems. I mean, that's what the description sounds like lol... And then... When the story began and the music that followed... It felt like it was going to be far more than one expected. Sure it has colorful graphics, but some things... Some things are rather dark. Not mind breaking dark, so don't worry. There was a lot of intercourse (duh!) and I wasn't sure how to feel about it (apart from the obvious), due to what I learned and knowing the truth about the situation. It's... I can't even say it without giving any type of spoilers. Eh. I only got one ending thus far... AND HOLY, thank you! It's a GOOD ENDING... At least it depends on how you see it I guess. But I think the Twins Ending is worth it... Because of everything that happened/transpired... Regardless, I definitely want to see what happens in other routes and enjoy more of it! Will write a longer review later but it's amazing. Nice music and so atmospheric. You really start to care about the mcs and their relationship with each other and the npcs. The choices also effect the story. The snake lore is very fun. If you're looking for pretty hot characters, well written and depicted sex scenes look no further then Xissai: the Snake Temple. I'd recommend it a lot. Not done with my first play through yet but I can't wait to keep playing and am curious to see how the other choices would change things.

This is a freaky one! Ya got BL, ya got snake tails, species transformation, twincest, public use, hypnosis, bondage... There's plenty of dark themes as well - slavery, non-con, religious authority abuse, cults... A specific sub-group of religious-ly 'fallen' snake-people with darker skin than everyone else, who are depicted as less intelligent and solely lust-driven... (yikes emoji) That one's not a good look! The emotional abuse and the amount of crying from the protagonists can get really legit sad, even during the arc toward the good ending! If all that seems too much for you, I get it. I'm already a sl*t for nagas, so this was an easy sell for me. If you really like the art style, I recommend checking out the dev's Steam page. They have 2 other games that are much less freaky. One non-triple-x with all-human BL, and one triple-x with elves. Those cost less too. I doooo kinda feel like this was overpriced for the market it finds itself in, but snake-man-BL is really rare, so, maybe not? Game. is without equal The first thing you will notice is the amazing art, where will you find more beautiful characters, I have never seen them in a game, these characters are straight out of the most beautiful graphic novel, and the colors and the backgrounds, fact. There are elements in this story that will check boxes for you and make you feel like you got your money's worth, lots of characters, GREAT relationships, quality storytelling But there are also elements you could have never imagined, combined with the glossy sparkly pastel art; it's stuff you've never seen There are.. a COUPLE of plot twists in here, I literally whispered OH MY GOD at my computer Based on the strength of this game alone, I bought the three other available games by this creator I got the Twins ending HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
