This is a blueprint, not even close to a fully finished game. I'll try to cover the most important aspects of why is it a blueprint. First thing that I noticed is that the tutorial text isn't even translated to English, but the gameplay and controls are straightforward enough (though I can't change them). From the platformer perspective: physics are very bad, the character is slow, heavy and gets stuck on every wall and corner possible, not even a dash ability could help it much. Not what I expected from a lightning-themed character, lol. You can not even control your jump height, it's an obvious thing to have in a platformer game in my opinion. I don't really want to talk about level design much, because there is no level design, I feel like all levels were just random arrangement of traps with no thought behind it. Oh, and wind sections in addition to a very uncontrollable character for some reason. Respawning after dying is also does not work as it should. Character keeps all his momentum after death which leads to a couple of more deaths if the checkpoint is near a spike. Dash cooldown does not get reset after dying, so I have to wait a bit each time if the section starts with …6 found this helpful
A viewer had me play this game because it shares my name (as good a reason as any I suppose). And I had a fun 30 mins with it, in which time I completed about half the levels. So it's not going to be a long game unless you really struggle. But for the price that's probably reasonable. While this isn't really my genre it seems like there are a few things done right here. The dash is a fun twist that factors into your strategy a lot. The levels felt tight to me, though not a big fan of the wind. Controls overall felt decent though Ziggy could be a little faster. Here's the VoD of my play session if you want a better look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kt-Vo8K0vO0 Thanks for the giggles.3 found this helpful
Very fun. Tight control, good challenging difficulty level. In case you missed it like me you can dash with the shift key.3 found this helpful
This one hurt. A lot of issues with collision detection and just controlling the little bastard. Got to level 13 and must've been unlucky because that was it for me. Doesn't seem like levels get more difficult as you go, moreso the difficulty is random. Also I think the tutorial was in Portuguese though my menu was in English. Got 100% of the achievements since only the first 10 levels out of 30 give you achievements for completing.2 found this helpful
Really short platformer, with nothing new to propose, if you really want a 2d platformer, then on sale i'd recommend, otherwise no.2 found this helpful
