4/10 the speed you throw the potions at is a constant, it does not increase when your move speed increases. you can string hops to boosts your speed and after about 2 or 3 your going so fast you cant stop yourself because you hit the spike wall before the potion you tossed does or the blast can stop you. this ruins the game for me - hardcore all the way - cant skip levels - 1 hit death - levels get longer and game gets less fun really enjoying this game at first. 2D Junkrat or 2FT Demoman to make this game way more fun you should be able to throw with two potions.one off button A, and one with button B. one with left stick and one with right stick. also add 3 lives mode 50% reduced speed mode let users skip 3 or 4 levels for each area so they dont get stuck and give up on the game so more people could enjoy this game

You don't have to understand physics to play this game, but it certainly does help. Each level has a unique mechanic that all comes together in one final level that, one day, I will go back and beat the final stage of. One day. One day...

Splodey is a platformer that thrives on taking a familiar genre and removing one of its most fundamental mechanics. Instead, movement is entirely dependent on magical explosions that launch the protagonist across hazards, through narrow passages, and toward the finish line. It is an unusual concept that could have easily felt like a one-note gimmick, yet the game commits fully to the idea and builds an experience around mastering momentum and timing. From the opening levels, Splodey teaches players to rethink how they approach platforming. Every explosion becomes both a tool and a risk, as improper placement can send you flying into spikes or off the edge of the map. Fortunately, the game embraces a forgiving structure with instant respawns and unlimited attempts, encouraging experimentation rather than punishment. This design choice keeps the pacing quick and prevents frustration from overshadowing the enjoyment of learning its mechanics. For fans of Celeste this game scratches the exact same itch. The movement is extremely simple with a lot of room for skill expression in (almost) every level. The breaking block levels make me want to pull my teeth out. And level 5-24. ♥♥♥♥ that level. Otherwise the game is a 10/10
