This game is extremely financially exploitative, has unusable interface. It is very manipulative, none of the dice rolls are random, (for your reference Cyanide/Slitherine or whoever m*r*n made this game, the expected wait time for a run of four 1 dice rolls on a d6 is 1,554 rolls) but in this game all IMPORTANT rolls are 100% catastrophic, 4x1 sequences and whatnot, it is very much unplayable, even within the pitiful non customizable locally hosted Ai league, or friends, thanks for ruining my day and have fun spending my money for doctors, lawyers and medication. It was a big mistake to buy this.

I'd love to recommend this game, I'd love to actually play bloodbowl with other people and have a ladder I can play in with the new rules. However I just cannot recommend their monetization system. I paid full price for this game and even pre-ordered it because I was excited, then I go into the game and have to pay practically $15 PER FACTION on top of what I've already paid for the game. Not only that, but there is no viable way of earning the currency in the game. You get like 10 a week, 50 per season pass, and 50 for levelling. That's IT. For reference? A team costs 750 without any skins. Blood bowl 2 at least included them in DLC waves, which while scummy I can at least understand releasing expansion packs that give you MULTIPLE FACTIONS to help out the development and support of a game that is continuing to provide benefits. I might play it every now and then because I have it and I got the lizardmen and goblins I wanted thanks to my pre-order benefits, and it's far too late to refund because I was secretly hoping the issue would be fixed later down the road... But don't make the same decision as me. This game is far too expensive for what it is. I just wish it was…

The game feels like it never left beta testing. Several core mechanics do not function. Not sure why the single player campaign has a turn timer. After the tutorial the game recommends you play the campaign to get a better understanding of the game. Great idea, except it puts up a turn timer, so there is no time to read character abilities or compare actions. The game plays ahead of the displayed dice rolls. Some dice roll results will occur without ever showing the dice roll, creating a confusing experience. I found this particularly annoying when using one of your teams limited rerolls. I would get a bad dice roll, spend a team reroll, them boom turnover without ever getting to see the dice. I think the reroll mechanic busted in general. There were times it would re roll dice for skill checks I already passed instead of the hit dice on screen. They recorded so few announcer lines that I stared hearing repeats before finishing the tutorial. If you play half a game, you have probably heard them all.

As it has been said before and will be said again. ♥♥♥♥ this games UI. I have never had the displeasure of playing a game so clunky and unintuative it actively feels like it's fighting back against you. Nothing is explained very well, trying to make a custom team for Arena is aids, you follow all the rules yet it will simply give team invalid with no explanation given. At least tell me why so I can make adjustments. Extremely poorly optimised, I should not be getting micro stutters constantly during gameplay. Awful, evil monetisation - nothing more to say on that front. Blood Bowl 2 ran so this game could roll a one and kill itself attempting a going for it. The only thing going for it is it's multiplayer modes, I really like the idea of Arena, Unfortunately I'm struggling to justify the hassel of playing this game. No game should make you irrationally angry when trying to play the damn thing, before a single dice has been rolled. I'd rather be bent over having a Blood Bowl team shoved up my arse whilst my balls are being stamped on by an Ogre. Find some friends to play custom leagues in Blood Bowl 2 with if you can. Wanted to get a feel for playing other teams after my first season playing in person. Unfortunately, the mouse lag made the game completely unplayable and there's no way to adjust the FPS in game (without using some kind of third party) as far as I can tell. As much as I want to love this game, I'm going to be returning it.
