Mobster themed Idle game where you buy and upgrade buisnesses, gamble, and fight off hitmen. Its fun. A bit of a story is played out at each of the buisnesses as you upgrade them and as you progress the game. Everytime you max out all of your buisnesses you can asscend which resets your progress and lets you spend resources to purchase upgrades from a skill tree. These upgrades are pretty normal idle game upgrades, but you can also get stuff that auto-buys upgrades, meaning the game an pretty much play itself other than pressing assend. Over all. I liked it. There's also something like a "new game+" mode when you finish the main "story"

Personally, I feel this game deserved far more attention than it got. I loved the setting, there's precious few games with a film noir theme to it. It's a short incremental idle game, but I think worth the money that's asked. It may not have revolutionary gameplay, but I liked the story additions that add to the vibe as well as the incremental money making side too. You can choose to play it actively or passively. At the time of me writing this, I finished the game with all achievements. Played more actively than I did, it could be done a bit sooner. The music was also great, with just one song that felt particularly loud compared to the rest of the jazz songs. You can set the music to play quieter songs after beating the story. I think it could be an option at the start of the game though. All in all, a solid short idle game with a great theme, music, and overall vibe that I liked very much. I hope the dev makes other games and I'd like to see what they do in the future.

Writing is exquisite, aesthetic is gorgeous and music is deeply immersive. Gameplay is mid, but who cares? [/i] + Trailer provides a pretty accurate glimpse into the game content. If you like it, you'll probably end up liking the game. + Prestige is the main mechanic to progress in the story. Your rise in the gangster hierarchy is told through "cutscenes" with the boss, and each prestige unlocks new rackets. Wanna know more about their owners? Level up their rackets and use your influence to unlock their stories. + Each racket owner has 10 specific short lines that you get when upgrading their business. The writing of these lines is absolutely fantastic! In just a few words, they set up a character, tell a story and depict each gangster business whit a touch of humour. - Despite the game having a very distinct identity, the gameplay itself is pretty standard. I would not recommend this game if your only focus is the gameplay: it's not bad at all, but there many more innovative (and less repetitive) options out there. ***Where…

For the price, it seems like it will be an enjoyable game. I'll update my review once I've 'completed' it, but wanted to support this dev after seeing some weirdo give him a negative review because he mentioned his wife and 2 kids in the credits. I hope that guy's wife sees his reviews and realizes what sort of negative testosterone creep she's living with. Never seen something so cringy in a review. Good luck to the dev. It's not easy putting yourself out there, and from what I've seen, you've remained responsive to your customer base, and the game has already evolved since release because of feedback you've been given. I've "played" a lot of idle games, but most of them stick to the same structure and design, just with a different skin on top. This one does something different in both aspects and I like the choices that the developer made. It's an interesting premise with an interesting visual style to boot. If you like idle games, a definite recommendation from me!
