After 800 hours in this game, let me tell you, this is the most realistic tennis game out there. The World Tour mode is fantastic and very easy to tweak if you don't like something. The player base can sometimes be inaccurate since it's community-generated, but the top 100 is almost always accurate. The controls are very intuitive and easy to learn (well, sort of), and the AI ​​difficulty selection system is great. The multiplayer is very active, even though it might not seem like it at first glance. I like to compare it to a small town. There are high-level online tournaments, and everyone is friendly. The modders also do a great job every year. And while the graphics aren't exactly the game's strongest point, they're fine for a game where you almost never see the players' faces. The new movement animations are very natural, and they're being refined even further. To conclude my review, I highly recommend playing it, and dedicating some time to it (because it's necessary to play it well).

Scratches the Tennis itch. A very good balance of realism & arcade, with ways to "move the needle" one way or the other if you want. I do recommend looking up some guides/the official manual for the game, as some of the player stats, World Tour mechanics, and control/difficulty settings can be a bit unintuitive, especially if you're not familiar with tennis games/the Tennis Elbow series. But a very helpful community, and responsive developer, make it fairly easy to get answers to any questions you may have. Graphics aren't top notch by any means but they are passable. Sound design is pretty generic with some crowd sound effects and a basic commentator, which I opt to turn off as he can be kind of tilting (limited selection of lines so repeats things often, and reacts negatively to bad plays). Music is off during gameplay and menu music is a bit of a throwaway. But the meat & potatoes of any sports game is the actual gameplay, and this is where Tennis Elbow excels. I admit I have not tried multiplayer but I haven't seen too many complaints about the networking quality, and there are even tournaments hosted on the official forums if you're into that. But the AI are quite good…

This is the Dark souls of Tennis... prepare to die... after i failed in the 3rd round of my first tournament, I had to take a hard look at my life... as I sat on my computer chair after I lost, I asked myself do I really want this? Do I have what it takes to be a champion? Am I hungry enough? What is my legacy? I sat on my front porch watching the storm clouds, with my head in my hands....tomorrow is a new day I thought...am I prepared to fail on beginner mode again? These are questions one ponders living on the edge of destruction.

Best tennis game ever... Unbeatable simulation. So seamless to play, you can just pause and pick it up mid set, or even mid game, and continue later. Recommending to play with lowest possible footwork boost, and simulation settings.

Best Tennis Game. Technically really the best tennis game you can play. Gives so much satisfaction and so much freedom in playing tennis in a video game, that it really does not have any competition in that regard. Other games may look prettier but after you played this one, all the others fall short.
