Galaxy Trucker: Extended Edition turns spaceship construction into a wonderfully unpredictable mixture of strategy, improvisation, and controlled disaster. Based on Vlaada Chvátil’s tabletop game, this digital adaptation revolves around building a functional spacecraft from assorted components before sending it through a journey filled with hazards. Developed and published by CGE Digital, the game does an excellent job of making careful planning important without allowing players to feel completely safe. Even a vessel that looks perfectly engineered can end its journey as a barely recognizable collection of surviving compartments. The ship-building phase provides the foundation for nearly everything that follows. Players assemble vessels from individual tiles representing engines, cannons, cabins, batteries, shields, cargo areas, and structural components. Connections between pieces matter, so simply grabbing powerful equipment is not enough. A ship needs suitable propulsion, defensive capabilities, firepower, crew capacity, and structural integrity. Great board game, great computer game. If it crashes on launch, disconnect from the internet, launch game then reconnect to the internet. Once you do it once it doesn't have that issue again.

I enjoyed it for a while. Worth the price.

This game is addicting as hell. It is a ship/puzzle-building vs. deck awareness strategy game. Basic and solo matches are fast (think Rocket league) but can be expanded and extended with core game session options. I purchased the entire TTBG franchise from CGE because of this digital Steam release. I hope you have as much fun as I'm having. Cheers!

It's good. Getting a copy for my partner too. Can't wait for Arnak. One of my favorite worker placement games.
