✦ AI summary

Players praise this as an excellent and substantial Picross game with impressive content depth, featuring 200 puzzles ranging from 15x10 up to 40x30 grids that provide 40-50+ hours of gameplay even for experienced nonogram players. The game offers flexible difficulty options including time limits, hint restrictions, and medal challenges, allowing both casual and hardcore play. However, Windows 11 compatibility issues prevent some players from launching the game at all, and the resolution lock at 1366x768 gives it a dated appearance; additionally, some find the occasional jigsaw puzzle sections

Listen, I know this looks like a weird subpar facebook game and the fact that it's locked at 1366x768 resolution doesn't help either. It is still, however, an awesome Picross game with a ton of content. Your starting puzzles are 15x10, and they go all the way up to 40x30 - this is much larger than your average Picross game, and the fact that there are 200 of such puzzles makes it a very content-rich game. I have plenty of experience with the genre and this still took me 40-50 hours to solve. I had to idle in offline mode to get the 100 hours achievement though (which somehow isn't reflected in my total playtime). Like many other games you get extra medals for solving levels without mistakes, without hints, and under the time limit. While time limits can be a little harsh in early smaller puzzles they become practically a non-issue later. Naturally, all puzzles can be solved without guessing - well, except for one which slipped through testing somehow, there's a small problem at the end but it can be forgiven, I mean 99.9% of it is good. Very challenging sometimes too, some puzzles took me a good while to solve. I would suggest disabling the multi-color feature thoug…

Great game, very challenging. Best suited for frequent nonogram players who want large difficult puzzles. Probably not suitable for young players. Took me about 47hrs to complete the game with all gold medals, which is a good amount of playtime but means I'll need to idle the game for another 53hrs to get the final achievements (play for 100 hrs). - Puzzles start off as 15x10 and increase in size as you move on to each "planet", ending with 40x30 size puzzles. - 20 levels/puzzles per planet. - You can save & exit in the middle of a nonogram, and resume it when you turn the game on again. - Occasional jigsaw puzzle is thrown in at the start of certain levels. I found this a bit irritating/difficult due to visibility issues, but they're very small and there's no time limit. - Hints are available, although I didn't use them so I'm not sure how well the system works. - The game is fairly forgiving. You can make multiple mistakes before you have to restart the level, but of course if you want the achievements you'll need to complete all levels without mistakes. - When you hover over a square the clues for that line & row are lit up slightly, but I wish it had been more noti…

EDIT : I finally managed to make it work on Windows 11. Apparently, some C++ files were missing on the new windows version. The one that worked for me was "Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistribuable (x86)". If it can help anyone with this issue. Download it for free directly on the official Microsoft Website however, be careful. I'll also make a discussion topic with the solution, just in case. This review is going to serve as a warning for Windows 11 users. The game doesn't launch anymore. It worked perfectly on Win10 but since I changed PCs I can't for the life of me make it work. I wanted to finish it but most likely won't be able to. Other than that, it's great WHEN it works. Features from previous games are back and are still very good and very QoL. However, this one doesn't pull any punches by starting you with fairly big grids even on the first "world" and might be hard for beginners. I suggest getting your feet wet with Gizmo Steampunk as I feel like it's a little easier.

This is an excellent griddlers/nongram game and ticks all the boxes for me. Although you can play with colours to build the picture as you play, there is also the option of having just black and white squares (which is my preferred option). Other options include being timed (or not). If not, you are still given your time compared to other players (not sure how that works) and the developer's time which is a good incentive to try harder and very pleasing when you beat it. The other main option is whether or not you have to start again if you do too many mis-clicks. So you can play totally casually if preferred or with more of a challenge. You start easy with small grids and gradually build up to 40 x 35 (I think). All the grids are rectangular in this game whereas in the other 3 in the series, they were all square. I thought the themes were interesting and the puzzles were very challenging towards the end but I managed most with out any hints. Hints take the form of several random squares being filled in - which was always enough to get me unstuck. I liked that the rows or columns would auto fill when you placed the last correct square. The only thing I felt was misplaced was the j…
