Bad Cheese

finished every achievement, which meant spending a very enjoyable few hours wandering around in the dark looking for kielbasa sausage and salty chips, as one does when trying to achieve inner peace... underneath all the strange little scares and goofy "dark-side-of-disney" moments, there’s something genuinely sad about bad cheese. the world feels lonely in a way that sneaks up on you, and some of the implications are considerably more depressing than the game’s silly premise has any right to be. i had a great time with it, though. the kind of horror where you’re unsettled one minute and thinking, “surely the kielbasa has to be around here somewhere” the next. a short, strange, quietly sad little game that somehow made me care deeply about snacks. 10/10, i will never look at salty chips the same way again... (maybe).

Controls are clunky, movement is slow, platforming is required and awkward, game very short Achievements are bugged ended up collecting everything and got no collection achievements.

Huh...I kind of thought there'd be more going on in this game. It was really short and really easy. Even the scares seem rather tame? Maybe the artist thought a drawing of a slimy goofy head was going to shock me to the core? It really doesn't get more intense than that. The child abuse metaphor is also wielded with a sledgehammer's grace - beer bottles everywhere, fighting fear with tears - its all too on the nose. I don't know. Its not bad, but its hard to argue its worth playing.

An amazingly disturbing, creepy, and sad story about growing up as a child of divorce. Great art and an eerie atmosphere with sinister music and sound effects. All horror enjoyers should check it out. Also, thank you for letting us replay levels to get all the collectibles.

This game stinks like bad cheese. its clunky and feels bad to control and its themes are pretty terribly done, its just edge for the sake of it. the horror is also bad and its just not tense or scary at all. I love the art style thats the only thing I can say I like about the game
