like, actually a joke game. piranha bytes is gone, this is fully jowood's strange, demented baby. and boy what a mutant it is. tries to pass itself off as an expansion to gothic 3, but it's a standalone experience where everything ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCKS. every character, quest, aspect of the story was written by the same 10-year-old indian incel. almost every gameplay aspect is broken in some way. nothing feels good and everything hurts.

Even if you can find enjoyment in gothic 3 do not play this. This is a farce of a game in every sense of the word. Everything bad about Gothic 3 is x10 here. There is no suspension of disbelief, this is an amalgamation of bad, unfinished game mechanics and an affront to the story of the hero so far. The general feel is what I imagine the first fully vibecoded games will be like - nonsensical everything

Raw, crooked, despite its age. The steam version is far from the best. I bought it purely out of respect for the series. Since the first two parts are reference RPGs.

Yes, this game is interesting, but it falls far short of *Gothic 3*. It has potential, but it’s riddled with bugs and suffers from major performance issues due to poor optimization; objects appear and disappear in the forests and elsewhere. It’s also very limited in terms of skills—there isn't much choice compared to the original *Gothic 3*. It feels like an expansion that needed more work.
