About Fifefer Island - Terrena's Adventure
Terrena, a teenager from the Amazon rainforest, is rescued by Mother Planet as her land is being destroyed by illegal loggers. On Fifefer Island, she investigates eerie prisons, town uprisings, and the merciless wilderness as she discovers the meaning of economic concepts, from allocation to opportunity cost. Terrena has a chance to battle the powerful Mind Master and test her knowledge of economics in order to return home and save her village.
Features:
- Health, Mental Energy, and Utility (aka Happiness) depletes over time. Make wise decisions and enhance problem-solving skills in order to succeed.
- Puzzles, battles, and quizzes are around every corner so pay attention.
- Increased difficulty as the player progresses in the game.
- Various NPCs and quests help the player’s progression. Don’t skip these unless you want detention. Hehehe.
- Unique areas filled with resources, but be respectful to Mother Planet.
- Advancements are made by learning new techs at “tech stones” and competing against enemies via a multiple choice answer mechanic.

This was fun to play through. The story is what drew me in at first, and the levels were fun explore and collect gold and food. The "Tech Stones" you unlock can be challenging and I definitely learned some new things about economics and finance in general, even as an adult (30F). The illustrations made me feel like I was in a story book, very pretty, the characters and backgrounds. Controls: They are simple keyboard or mouse controls, which can be good for some people, but sometimes I wasn't sure where to click or press enter. Figured it out eventually. Definitely would recommend to anyone up for a unique challenge to discover this game!3 found this helpful

I'm honestly surprised how much fun Fifefer Island is. It's simple but addictive. There are quests you have to complete in order to gain more resources which allows you to progress through the game more easily. I feel like this would be a great game for anyone trying to learn more about business while also enjoying an easygoing video game. The best type of learning is when you're having fun and I think Fifefer Island succeeds at that.1 found this helpful
