Break into minds, remix memories to reshape reality itself, and master customizable combat combos in this stylish action-adventure that flips the power dynamic in a world where your thoughts are currency.
Personal memories can now be digitized, bought, sold and traded. The last remnants of privacy and intimacy have been swept away in what appears to be a logical progression of the explosive growth of social networks at the beginning of the 21st century. The citizens themselves have accepted this surveillance society in exchange for the comfort only smart technology can provide. This memory economy gives immense power over society to just a handful of people.
Remember Me™ is a 3rd person action adventure where players take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories. The authorities, fearful of her knowledge and capabilities arrested Nilin and wiped her memory clean. After her escape from prison, Nilin sets out on a mission to recover her identity, helped by her last and only friend. This search for her past leads to her being hunted by the very people that created this surveillance society.

The sound is just beautiful! Full of emotion! And the way the music combines with and reacts to the combat is just perfect! I'm surprised they managed to do this, considering the limitations of the console this game was designed for. The story is nice, emotional, morally grey, with plot twists. The combat is mostly satisfying, with a few small issues here and there. My biggest issue was the fact that it's meant for console and/or controller, not mouse and keyboard. The most unique mechanic is the remixing of the memories. It's similar to analyzing the braindances from Cyberpunk, but more interactive and complex. But for me the highlight remains the sound and the overall feel of the universe and the story.1 found this helpful

Great game and visuals for its age. Nice story. Sometimes there are FPS drops, audio completely dies and combat is really repetitive
Really unique
One of the only other cyberpunk games that's absolutely worth it as an RPG. Great music, great artqtyle, fun gameplay, and even the story is alright. I just love walking through a cyberpunk Paris
the control and the way that mouse responses to my move kinda make me be a bit uncomfortable. However still a good game
