Its an improvement over the first game, but this title isn't without its concerns: Pros: - Every aspect of this game is an improvement over the first title. Graphics, combat and non-combat gameplay mechanics, dialogue quality with NPCs, loot system, story, perk system, etc. If you liked something in the first game. They either built on it or improved it here. - You can get a flying mount in this game (after many hours) and I just think that is the bees knees, especially in a game with such gorgeous and diverse landscapes. - The main story characters - particularly Aloy's companions - have much more interesting stories imo. I felt much more invested in the main story because of this. Cons: - While there is certainly plenty to do in the game to justify the cost, the geographical size of the game is excessive when compared to how much there actually is to do. The game has a way of being tediously large. - The story maintains to be a great experience all the way up to the last 5% of it.
