About Raft

✦ AI summary

Survive alone or with friends on a vast ocean by fishing for debris, building and expanding your raft, and scavenging dangerous islands while battling a man-eating shark. This multiplayer survival adventure combines resource gathering, crafting, farming, and exploration as you uncover the mysteries of sunken civilization and chart your course to safety.

By yourself or with friends, your mission is to survive an epic oceanic adventure across
a perilous sea! Gather debris to survive, expand your raft and set sail towards forgotten and dangerous islands!

Trapped on a small raft with nothing but a hook made of old plastic, players awake on a vast,
blue ocean totally alone and with no land in sight! With a dry throat and an empty stomach,
survival will not be easy!

Raft™ throws you and your friends into an epic adventure out on the big open sea, with the
objective to stay alive, gather resources and build yourself a floating home worthy of
survival.

Resources are tough to come by at sea: Players will have to make sure to catch whatever debris floats by using their trusty hook and when possible, scavenge the reefs beneath the waves and the islands above.
However, thirst and hunger is not the only danger in the ocean… watch out for the man-
eating shark determined to end your voyage!

Find the last parts of civilization still above water. Overcome the challenges therein, uncover the story of its previous inhabitants and find your way to the next destination!

Features:
● Multiplayer! Survive by yourself or with friends in online co-op!
● Hook! Use your hook to catch debris floating by.
● Craft! Build survival equipment, weapons, crop plots and more to help you stay alive!
● Build! Expand your raft from a simple wreckage to a buoyant mansion.
● Research! Learn new things to craft in the research table.
● Navigate! Sail your raft towards new destinations and overcome their challenges, uncover their story and find new items to help you on your journey!

● Fight! Defend your raft from the dangers of the ocean and fight your way through perilous destinations.
● Farm and cook! Grow crops, catch and tend to animals, cook recipes and make tasty smoothies to keep your stomach happy.

✦ AI summary

Players consistently praise the game's multiplayer experience and fun factor with friends, highlighting engaging cooperative gameplay and accessibility features that help new players learn. However, some criticize the single-player experience as repetitive and lacking depth, with pacing issues that make it feel hollow without other players, though fans counter that it's an underrated gem worth discovering despite its age.

Here's a game where you start with almost nothing, floating in the middle of the ocean on a tiny raft, and slowly turn that little platform into a home. You gather materials, craft equipment, explore islands and reefs, research new technology, grow food, and try to keep everyone alive while a shark occasionally decides to take a bite out of your raft. LOL The best part for me is that you're figuring this all out together, so even the smallest problems can turn into some of the funniest memories. At first, everyone is figuring out what they're supposed to be doing then it becomes a battle of resourcefulness and who gets to drink the boiled water first before you pass out from dehydration. But bob decides to say who cares and drinks the salt water instead. You learn who you can rely on, who is going to remember to gather something important, who picks the flowers, and who is absolutely going to swim off toward an island without telling anyone. You are forced to think about what you're using and what you're going to need later. It also makes crafting feel rewarding because you can see the difference between having almost nothing and gradually having the equipment you need to survive…

You can make your own raft, then make it fast and then. Get OP and light off 100 fireworks. There is dupe glitch too if you're into that. good stuff

“Raft™ throws you and your friends into an epic oceanic adventure! Alone or together, players battle to survive a perilous voyage across a vast sea!” --Gameplay: 6/10 What sets Raft apart from most other survival games is its approach to the base-building mechanic. As the name implies, your raft is your base. Not only that, but it also serves as your means of travel through the endless ocean. With this approach, the game essentially eliminates the backtracking that you would normally have to do after long trips in other games. Expanding your raft, upgrading it with proper navigation and engines, and watching it slowly become a proper self-sustaining vessel is a very rewarding experience. It is further reinforced by the many decoration options available to you, allowing you to fully customize it to your liking. Combat, however, in this game is a different story. It is overly simple and easy, poses no real threat, and offers no challenge or player engagement. Enemies usually have one or two attacks that are easily avoided, often not requiring more than two steps to the side. Because of this, combat encounters become a nuisance very soon and are ultimately best avoided, especiall…
