Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition

if you want to play this game properly try deus ex revision, it's free on steam you only need the base game and you good to play, the revision have better graphics just try. for me this deus ex was my childhood game (well i born in 2006) i crack this game when i still a kid, deus ex was my first deus ex and it's the best deus ex game if you focus on the conspiracy theory and this game have somethng like wow this game right about today life like "corporatocracy", like i said just TRY IT

Okay so i've been playing this game semi extensively since about 2015 to the point where i know a number of exploits and dumb mechanics to it, i've never actually beaten this game - matter of fact i've mostly only replayed the first 3 to 4 missions ad nauseum and well, i figured hey, i haven't beat this game in ten years, i'm probably not going to beat it this time around, i might as well do my due dilligence and recommend the damn thing. You need to understand that this is a game of great, awe inducing mechanical density, that doesn't necessarily excel at any of the mechanical twists it offers, augmentations are a big selling point, right off the bat you may be fortunate enough to encounter an augmentation canister, of predetermined location and effects, whether or not you come to know its associated skill tree is a matter of prospection; indeed you may very well go on to play a game of deus ex devoid of augs if you don't explore bravely enough, or if you simply choose not to play into this system. A beautiful game. Surprisingly relevant in the modern age, especially since it was written before 9/11 and the patriot act! A little janky at times, but it gives it real charm! The characters are so much fun and you can really feel the stakes in the story. I played with a few mods, a launcher to make changing some options easier and a mod that fixes a few of the maps in the game. Goes on sale for DIRT CHEAP, less than $1 USD

It's a fantastic game, but unfortunately, a glitch at the electronic gate caused the game to freeze. Every time I restarted the game, it would freeze at that gate. I wanted to finish the game, but I'm not going to replay 11.6 hours of gameplay because of a glitch and that electronic gate.

Definitely as game of its time. didn't really appeal to me but the next games did alot better to keep my attention.
