Quest Hunter

ughhh i played 9 hours in one session. luv'ddd it. and wanna finish this, but it glitches and freezes at ancient gate! i'm just writing here to get attention! help me 2 ZOMBIE GAMES!

I was left kinda disappointed by the shallow experience Quest Hunter gave me for 20€. Yes, I did 100% it, but not because the game was great, more like because it was an easy, fast 100%. The game is painstakingly easy and minimalistic, with cringe dialogue and laggy multiplayer. If you want a good exploration game with similar graphics, I can recommend Dysmantle instead. This game feels a bit like a mobile port, especially with the interface and controls being the way they are.

We tried playing it, but it's impossible to play in multiplayer due to lags. Even people in my own household get desynced heavily. Just let us host on our own...

Going into this game, I was expecting to not like it and add it to my list of refunded games. However, I found myself pleasantly surprised and have absolutely enjoyed the heck out of it. It's not the deepest game, and some might even argue that it's somewhat simplistic, but that's where its charm comes from. Not everyone is looking for an incredibly deep experience that leaves you referencing wiki articles just to understand complicated systems. Sometimes it's fun to just hack and slash while casting a handful of spells. I definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun, not overly complex, dungeon-crawler-style experience. As is usually the case, it's even better with a friend or group of friends.

This game's more fun than I was expecting going in. It's a survival game - you vs. the world - and my first experience getting to cut down trees and destroy stones for resources. Easy to get sucked in!
