Better than Pillars 1, way more polished and more fun class and combat system. Even if the story is a bit weaker.
If you liked BG3 then you will like this game too, you'll feel right at home.
The main plot is boring and feels rushed. There is not much "consequence-based" outcomes that are enough for me to care about. That said, some of the side quests are great - the companions are interesting enough and the disposition system between them is a unique flavor. This is one of the easier CRPGs to play. There are some very strong spells to abuse that it makes even the higher difficulties easy. Ship combat and system are pretty meh, it's all text-based, and just some stat-check side flavor. Overall though it's quite fun to play, the multiclassing, items, and combat is fun to tinker around when finding synergies. Power fantasy is captured wonderfully for each class, music is decent, challenges are fun to take on, so even if the main quest is lackluster, the side content are interesting enough to keep me playing till the end and even replay it a few times.
me gusta mas que pathfinder, siento que el unirte a facciones, ir a las islas que quieras, explorar y crear tus personajes tiene como esa linea de aventura de skyrim, es excelente
6/10 This is a solid and nice-looking game, but the story didn't draw me in at all. That's a very important element for me in RPGs. I think the game deserves a positive review, but unfortunately, I don't feel like continuing to play it.
The plot wanders a bit, but overall highly enjoyable!
