The White Door

Honestly a bit at a loss for words here. Ever been to an art installation or a theatre play where you went "???" but most of the people around you would love it making you feel like YOU'RE the weird one? That's this game. This software is barely a game anyway. It's extremely short. The story and themes while initally interesting do not have a satisfying payoff. The gameplay is pretty bad. This entire game feels pretentious and made for circlejerking giga-nerds who want to smugly proclaim that they're the only ones who "get it" and if you didn't like it you're dumb. You know the kind of person I'm talking about. Skip this one.

i think this game - if not the entire series - should be adapted into either a movie franchise or a bunch of connected tv series or something, there's so much rich storytelling in every game. thanks for all the memories <3

Great game about grief. Totally worth your time and patience

The puzzles are simple on the surface but woven tightly into the story itself, so solving them feels like uncovering memory rather than just clearing an obstacle. I appreciated how minimalist the presentation is compared to other entries, yet it still carries that same unmistakable Rusty Lake unease underneath. It's a shorter, more contained experience, but it lingers with you after it's over. A clever, atmospheric addition to the universe — highly recommended for series fans looking for something a little different.
