About Zipple World

✦ AI summary

Zipple World is a frog warrior's action-puzzle adventure where you navigate procedurally-generated 3D mazes collecting scattered objects and delivering them to village homes while battling waves of varied enemies and navigating movable obstacles. The game stands out with its infinite procedural levels, strategic God Mode mechanics, extensive customization options, and detailed statistics tracking that fuel the endless challenge to climb the rankings and become a legend.

This is the story of Zipple, a frog warrior who must collect the objects scattered in his world of mazes and then bring them into the homes of her village.
To pass each level you have to transport a certain number of objects (scattered in the maze) in the houses of the village. All that by running, jumping and killing enemies.
There are various types of enemies of various species, and there are movable obstacles and bonuses falling from the sky. You can also kill enemies by jumping on them.
VERY IMPORTANT:
When you run you activate the God Mode which can kill enemies, but you can not shoot.
If a magic item falls into the void, it will be Game Over!
To catch the "magic boxes" just touch it to activate the elastic to the protagonist; then you have to drag these objects (with the label "TAKE") in the houses of the village (label "HOME").
The tents with label "DANGER" are the enemy bases.

Features:

3D dungeon maps! - Each maze is in 3D with ramps, descents and random climbs.

Enemies - Enemies follow the main character by moving and jumping. There are four enemy types, with different characteristics and speed.
Obstacles - With advancing levels will appear obstacles (rocks, etc.) which will hinder the journey of the protagonist. These obstacles can be moved and placed wherever you want. Bonuses are obstacles that can kill enemies with a magical aura.
Unlimited levels - The game is practically infinite, the number of levels is unlimited and therefore the real challenge is to make as many points as possible to become a legend.

Multiple game modes - You can select various game options, including the camera, game difficulty levels, the number of enemies and their speed. All this to offer an even richer gameplay.

Full game statistics - The game saves the complete statistics of the game in progress, including the score, time played, enemies destroyed, blocks filled, jumps, levels completed, levels failed etc. In this way, lovers of statistics will have even more pleasure in playing.

Full game rankings - The game will store up to 100 high scores with its partial statistics. This will make real the challenge to become a legend !!

Full procedural generation, exploration and discovery - Each level is generated procedurally with the algorithm of construction of random ‘Dungeon’. Even the main character, enemies, blocks and everything are placed and constructed randomly. In this way, the game is always unpredictable and dynamics are always unknown.

Fight and strategy - In each level there are the bases from which the enemies will appear. These enemies will follow you to kill you. This way to overcome the levels you’ll also face fierce fighting from enemy waves.

Incremental difficulty - With the advancement in the levels, these become ever larger and increasingly difficult mazes. It also increases the number of enemies and the number of blocks present and to save. In this way, with the advancement in the game becomes more difficult and challenging to become a
legend!

✦ AI summary

Zipple World is a retro platformer with charming arcade-style gameplay that works well in early levels, but becomes increasingly broken and confusing as difficulty ramps up. Players praise its simple premise and initial fun factor, but many hit a wall around midgame where obtuse mechanics, procedurally generated chaos, and poor balance make progression feel unfair and frustrating, requiring exploits rather than skill to advance.

Zipple World is a retro-inspired indie platformer developed by Alternative Dreams and published by Strategy First that combines arcade action, maze exploration, and light puzzle mechanics into a colorful fantasy adventure. Centered around a frog warrior named Zipple, the game focuses on navigating dangerous labyrinths, recovering magical artifacts, and safely transporting them through enemy-filled environments. Although its premise appears simple on the surface, the gameplay gradually introduces increasingly demanding challenges that require careful movement, quick reflexes, and strategic planning. The game embraces the spirit of classic arcade platformers where gameplay and challenge take priority over cinematic storytelling. Players guide Zipple through a strange fantasy world populated by hostile creatures, hazardous environments, and maze-like stages filled with traps and obstacles. The overall structure feels heavily inspired by older generations of platform games, relying on straightforward objectives and progressively difficult level design rather than deep narrative complexity. This old-school design philosophy gives the game a nostalgic atmosphere that will likely appeal …

So bad
Not recommended Sep 29, 2025
I would've recommended this game if it didn't become completely unplayable after level 30. I actually managed to beat the final level (150), but it was only through level rerolls and exploits that I discovered myself. Basically you are a frog creature who picks up objects and brings them to a homebase. You have multiple attacks and your jumps do radial damage. You have to kill enemies to replenish your ability to walk or your health will quickly drain and you will die. Also, a rock falls on your head every few seconds and you can destroy it to pick up a powerup. These are super important later on because you need to use the ability to half the number of objectives on the map or the game will become uplayable. If all of this sounds nonsensical and confusing, it is. The levels are procedurally generated, which in principle is a good idea, but the game becomes broken at level 30 because whenever you jump the frog drops the item he's holding, falls through the floor, etc. Movement in this game is a horrible pain because the frog moves toward your cursor but you can't turn the camera. This makes the game uplayable when you need to climb up additional floors, move across moving platfo…
