Spark the Electric Jester

Cool Sonic-like, though I did have an issue with controller. I really like having the dedicated attack and dash buttons; it feels like a combo of Sonic and Megaman Zero. Check it out!

Got all achievements, the hardest part by far was Spark's challenge and some of the SPC challenges (#4 especially.) - Really good soundtrack - Combat is much more engaging than most Sonic games - Bosses aren't the greatest, but still requires more effort than most platformers - Abilities are fun - A lot of earlier stages feel more cluttered when tryiing to maintain speed, gets better in latter stages - Some bugs present, like major slowdown when defeating some bosses Overall, highly recommended, hoping for more games like this (both 2D and 3D like the sequels)

Amazing! A must-have for Sonic fans.

Loved this classic sonic inspire game, it's feels right at home with other 90s mascot plataforms.

The Hedgehog we have at home… Janky and amateurish as heck. In the tutorial/config diagram, why wouldn’t ‘jump’ be a big green button and ‘attack’ be the little red button? It’s a subtle detail, but still, it makes no earthly sense. Why does gameplay s’posedly run at 60fps but menu suddenly shoot up to 120fps? Very weird. I say “s’posedly” because it does not at all LOOK like it’s running smoothly. It has the appearance of chugs and struggles. Boss health tuning is whack. The first fight with the first boss wasn’t too bad, verged on hit spongey. But the second encounter where he’s flying behind above in the sky? Complete opposite. Might as well have not encountered anything. He was dead in one poke and one charged shot. I laughed my ass off. Anyway, refunding. Maybe I’ll try out a sequel. Decent soundtrack at least.
