About Spark the Electric Jester 2

Following right after the ending of the original Spark the Electric Jester, you'll take control of Fark, now in the third dimension, in his quest to find out his true identity! Speed through several fast paced platforming stages, action packed bosses and fully animated cutscenes.

The story picks up right after the first ending of the original game and tells Fark's story. The gameplay is a mix of action and platforming in a clever way, taking elements from many games of both genres, you are able to find powers that change the way you play, enjoy a great freedom of movement, discover many different ways to beat each stage and ways to do it faster. The same composers from the original game are back in full force, delivering a soundtrack that is better than ever.

Idk its ok I guess. I never played Sonic Adventure which is apparently what this game is like. The transition of this game to 3D compared to game 1 comes with some hiccups. The camera is a nightmare, jerking all around throughout the level. Also the platforming can be a bit floaty with a strange sense of momentum, as well as intermittently inputs being eaten. A lot of the game plays itself it feels as you just run around paths while bumps shoot you along. Theres tons of enemies but its truly pointless to fight them so you just run past them. Theres bits which act as currency but you never will use them for a single thing so theyre pointless too. The story was a bunch of blah blah blah, couldn't care less and didn't find it interesting at all. Boss fights are mostly just stand in front of the guy and spam light attack and press block at the right time, rinse and repeat. Sometimes during boss fights it can be hard to tell whats going on with all the flashing lights etc. It's also quite short. But overall its still not bad, just mediocre. 7/10.

Overhated as HELL, this was actually kind of a blast- Physics and combat feel great, and there were only 2 bosses that felt too easy, and the level design is very decent outside of 1 or 2 bad apples. Plus, my first playthrough was on hard mode. The weapons also feel good, though I DO wish there was a bigger variety. Also, the story does fall SLIGHTLY flat, though it doesn't appear to be the main focus across the series. In all, VERY good game, had fun, have a good one.

I didnt think the game was short at all! i usually prefer shorter games, and this one ended just before it was about to get boring. The gameplay feels like what i wish sonic games were. Also, the final bossfight was absolutely hype

its such a good game my favorite part is how smooth turning should not be on by default because the terminal blah blah loops are so hard with it on oh my god (im on xbox controller)

its a good Sonic boost formula clone and things i wished a Sonic game would adopt. It is quite short, but for the price they put for the games, I would say it is worth it.

It's better than Sonic Frontiers but that ain't saying much. Ill try the third game since apparently it's better.
