a great simulation game

JudgeSim is a fine game, you'd probably be better off just watching someone else play it. The game is clearly written by someone whose first or even second language isn't English, which is completely okay, but you can notice it in the text. For a game whose entire premise is relying on text, well, that poses a major issue. The other big issue with this one is that there's too much outside of court issues that affect the main game and can cause you to lose through no real fault of your own. The court side of the game is fun, but with the meaningless games they make you play to access evidence, the issues with the text in the court cases themselves, and the unnecessary punishing family life aspects, I simply cannot recommend it.

its okay i suppose, the other mode of the game feels a bit repetitive, however i get thats somewhat the point 180$ for a drink is insane though it shouldnt grow that much

I'd give it a 3/5. I appreciate the horrid henry style artwork, thats really cool. Being english I recognised the influence there but could also see american law, like a hybrid of the two. The cases are generally common sense though it's let down sometimes with a case that isn't really waterproof. you risk overthinking these things sometimes. Thats what this game could be though, a real genuine simulator. Add a plethora of more cases with the guidance from real barristers and judges. The art style is great, i enjoyed the short animation sections and wish there were more of them. Having a hard mode where you can manually search for details of the suspect yourself instead of being given it all from the start. Remove the minigames for evidence - just tedious in the end. You could branch out with dlc. American Law/ English law/ Japanese law etc.. Overall I think this game is a good proof of concept and should be complimented with a deeper sequel.
