Not all games are for all people, and Project: Gorgon is a shining example of that fact. [b]This is a good thing.[/b] For the sort of naturally curious person who enjoys exploration, interconnected and creative systems (in- and out-of-combat), meaningful character choices, and interacting with a game world instead of a theme park, this game has a lot to offer. After creating a character, Project: Gorgon effectively tells you to swing a sword, then explore the world and see what happens. Sometimes it's farming potatoes or picking mushrooms, sometimes it's [i]talking[/i] to mushrooms or talking to human-sized preying mantises to help a NPC with a drug addiction, sometimes it's drinking a potion without paying attention to the description and finding out that you now have hooves and go 'oink', and sometimes it's exploring a crypt full of skeletons because you can. Whether playing solo or with others, Project: Gorgon will let you make moments and create stories in a way that other games just don't. Project: Gorgon doesn't give players a superficial world full of checklists to support an incredibly narrow endgame; it gives players an incredibly dense and imaginative world to play in.…

ITS RAR DEVS THAT CARE ABOT THERE GAME

It's good. I'll just talk about the game a bit. Probably a ramble but here goes. I wouldn't exactly call this a classic style mmorpg, but it feels like it with its slow pace. And it wants to be more realistic which is a breath of fresh air. Has more depth than the classic old school mmorpgs, both in setting up skills lines, and in crafting. You get a mix and match of about 30ish combat and beast form skills to play around with. Note that you can just switch skills when you feel like it, if you've them unlocked. There are some limitations though, like animal/beast forms don't have hands, they have hooves and paws you see. So you aren't going to be running around swinging a sword in wolf form. And no need to make an alt really, because you can unlock all of the skills and switch in and out of animal forms whenever pretty much. All of the crafting and gathering skills seem to be entwined with each other a bit. Which can be daunting at first, but you'll get the hang of it. And there are so many of them. No need to level them all, but you could. The questing system is all about gaining favor with the npcs to build friendship. More comfortable you get with npcs they will give y…

Game is great. Weird, but great. I can rarely stick to a game for more than 30 hours so anything that can keep me for 150 definitely has things going for it. This MMO is janky, it's strange, but it has a ton of soul. Highly recommend.
