The day after trying out this game, the company demanded I give them my phone number for 2-Step authentication and no way to manually delete my account. Stay away from this company!3 found this helpful
The original; if you played it years ago, it's still marvellous. Nothing else ever quite had this sort of atmosphere....2 found this helpful
As an avid EQ player over 20 years ago before WoW came out, I decided to try out the Free to Play version on Steam and was pleasantly surprised at how much fun it is. Being rusty, I tried out the tutorial twice to get back up to speed after which my new level 12 Frog Pally landed in the new Starting city with decent equipment and 266 Plat along with a couple spells. 1 week later he is level 23 with 510 plat after visiting a lot of the old zones I played doing POK armor quests. Upgraded mechanics (no corpse runs) and less grinding (leveled 22 in 45 minutes clearing undead doing the Ogre King quest on the 3rd floor of capital) are plusses and POK books & in game maps help too Older zones are intact but mostly empty (ran through Freeport last night without seeing anyone) but decent numbers in Starting City since all new players are sent there. Already getting complaints from the wife on time sink LOL.
Super classic and immersive MMORPG game that still holds up today despite the micro transactions for dlc and such as i still prefer to try to work for my keep if possible but nonetheless still fun as i grew up on this and other similar games like Everquest
